To get away from the heat and traffic of the main Amalfi Coast road, this ride towards our beautiful mountains is the best way to still enjoy the sea view, while exploring a less known, but not less beautiful, side of the area. The ride starts with a long, but not too steep climb, which may not be for anyone on a regular bike, so consider choosing a pedal assisted e-bike unless you're up for some challenge! Once in Agerola, a wide rural town overlooking the coast, there's a lot to taste and explore, and on a full day ride we can take our time there, before starting the exciting descent back to Amalfi.

Those looking for the most popular destinations may opt for the Amalfi Drive route, those who prefer quiet roads can choose the tour of Agerola, but this other option we offer has a bit of both: starting from Amalfi, we reach the famed town of Ravello, after a few steep km of climbing. Definitely not an easy ride for anyone, but if you choose pedal assisted e-bikes you will barely feel the incline! After Ravello, there's still a long climb on one of the quietest roads in this area, and once at the top you are rewarded with a view well worth your while. We descend on a different road towards Maiori, to close a loop with a short stretch on the coast (which may get quite busy at times, so basic cycling skills are still a must).

A half or full day bicycle ride is the ideal way to explore the main Amalfi Coast road from Amalfi to Positano and back. While basic cycling skills are required to handle possible traffic in some stretches, and a fair fitness level to face the numerous (but not steep or long) hills -unless you opt for the much easier e-bikes-, once you get going you easily realize how much better it is to be on a bike, rather than in a car or bus. You'll be able to fully enjoy the environment, stop at any corner at your will to enjoy the scenery and take pictures, and get some healthy exercise on top of all!

The tour that we propose will lead you to discover unknown places of the Sorrento peninsula immersed in nature and far from mass tourism. From Sorrento, we will head towards Termini pedaling along the coastal road overlooking the blue waters of the Gulf and with a privileged view of Capri and crossing the characteristic ancient village of S. Maria Annunziata. We will stop several times to take pictures: it will be impossible to resist temptation. Arriving at Termini we will make a brief stop to rest and admire the view before continuing towards Monte San Costanzo. Once at the top and leave the bikes, we will proceed briefly to the chapel to admire the breathtaking view of the Due Golfi. Back down, we will continue towards the promontory of Punta Campanella, the summit of the Sorrento Peninsula where the "Fossa Papa" Farmhouse is located, where we will stop to taste typical local products. At the end of the tasting, we will return to Sorrento.

After the departure from Sorrento, we will head towards Meta from where we will proceed for 5 km uphill towards the Colli di San Pietro and the coastal highway 163 in the direction of the Amalfi Coast. The first part of the highway is completely downhill, a road full of curves and breathtaking views. It will be difficult not to linger several times for some souvenir photos. Before reaching Positano, we will have to climb a 1.5 km climb, but we will not feel the effort, taken by the enthusiasm to reach the coastal pearl where we will stop briefly after which we will return to Sorrento. Along the way back we will then head towards the highest area of the Sorrento peninsula, the Picco Sant’Angelo, a short but demanding climb. Once we reach the top, we will stop for a few minutes to admire the panorama of the gulfs of Salerno and Naples. From Picco Sant’Angelo we will return to Sorrento along the scenic Via Nastro Verde.

Starting from Sorrento towards Meta, we will cross some small towns on the Sorrento peninsula, Sant’Agnello and Piano di Sorrento. Once in Meta, we will encounter the first roughness of the day: a 5 km climb at 4-5% slope that will lead us to the brow of the Teresinella towards the beginning of State Road 163 in the direction of Amalfi. From here we will dive, among dozens and dozens of curves, on the Amalfi coast, crossing the famous towns of Positano and Praiano, until we reach the Cathedral of Amalfi. During the journey we will all face ups and downs, each of 2-3 km with slopes between 4 and 5%, and we will travel for 20 km along the coast overlooking the Gulf of Salerno. Once in Amalfi, we will make a brief stop in the coastal town between the traditional alleys and the majestic Cathedral of Sant’Andrea. After the stop we will return to Sorrento retracing the same route as the first leg. Our Bike Tour will end in Sorrento after about 60 km.

The Monte Faito tour is of pure passion; suitable for true bicycle enthusiasts and especially for trained athletes. The tour will begin by taking the SS 145 state road north. We will travel about 3 km, but immediately after the descent of this first climb we will turn right to take the municipal road that will take us to the first ramps of the Lattari Mountains. Even if you have just started, a first stop will be a must: the panorama, in any weather, will be spectacular. Enchanted by the landscape, you will continue to pedal along a road that climbs more and more. After about 20 km we will arrive in Moiano, a small mountain village from which the actual climb will begin with stretches that will touch peaks of 12% slope: about 7 km of pure adrenaline will take us to the plain of Monte Faito. The landscape is breathtaking, the sound of nature and the scent of the fields will allow us an extraordinary regenerating stop.

The tour includes pick-up from Sorrento or from a location requested by the customer. We will then reach the Mt Vesuvius valley (transfer by van), the bike tour will start from there. We will cycle along the paths of the National Park, we will pedal immersed in nature, among woods of Mediterranean scrub, hedges of broom, pristine pine forests to the top where the vegetation will leave room for the barren landscape typical of volcanic areas. Leave the bicycles, we will continue briefly on foot to the crater from which we will enjoy a breathtaking view of the plain below and the Gulf of Naples. We will visit the crater listening to the history of the volcano and past eruptions, we will know more about the geology and flora and fauna of the National Park. Once the visit is over, we will return by van to Sorrento or to the hotel.
