After selecting your favorite vintage, you’ll get to pour, label and cork a bottle of your very own, creating the perfect souvenir. Your tasting and all entrance fees are included.

Then I press your friends with your new found knowledge at your next party! You will learn each step involved in this interactive sangria workshop. We will be using locally sourced fresh ingredients. Accompanying the sangria will be delicious traditional tapas.

Have you always wanted to try the champagne/samurai sword party trick? Learn how to do it, Barcelona-style, with a machete and a bottle of fine cava! Here's what we'll do: -A Brief History of Champagne Sabrage (Modern day Cava Sabering!) -Technique on cava sabering, safety controls etc. -Live demonstration with a glass or two of cava for each participant -Each participant is shown what to do and each sabers a bottle of cava -After-sabering speakeasy where we drink what we didn't spill, with nibbles. *NOTE: This class is scheduled on alternating days with my other experience; Class in a Glass. This a great event to sample some wines from the region and get to know a little more about the wine and how its produced. A variety of wines are offered so you will have the opportunity to same different varieties of grape combined with wine from various regions. As the tasting is a short walk from Sagrada Familia its a great way to finish your visit to the Cathedral. There are some great restaurants and tapas bars in the area that you can also visit after the tasting, our hosts will be happy to recommend these to you. The activity is done in small groups exclusively for clients of "Discover Barcelona" so you will have the chance to meet other travellers and locals to share your stories & travellers tips. Join certified Spanish wine scholar and wine educator Nika from her home in Barcelona where she will lead you on an exploration of the history and culture behind five emblematic wines and regions: sherry, cava, Rioja, verdejo and sweet moscatel. These are absolute Spanish classics that you might have already tried—but how they connect to Spain’s history is the part that not everyone gets to find out!
