Top British Columbia Wildlife Watching

Fishing along the shoreline of several rivers in the stunningly beautiful Columbia River Valley. On these Walk & Wade trips you can expect detailed instruction. Demonstrating different casting methods, lure selection, and much more fishing/outdoor advice. We’ll be offering either fly-fishing or spin casting options. Walk & Wade trips will be fishing along the Columbia, Akolkolex and Eagle Rivers, depending on water conditions, and seasons. These trips will be including instruction on different fly-fishing cast, fly to use and different methods of present them, species identification, tying different fishing knots and other fishing/outdoor tips. Trips will be held on the Columbia River for the first couple months of operation. All fishing equipment necessary for the trip will be provided: tackle, rods, waders, photos / videos. A quality experience; with knowledgeable guided instruction.

Our 6-Hour trips give us the opportunity to venture out further and explore some of the more pristine and remote areas of the coast. Increase your chances of seeing some of the larger marine life, like whales and dolphins! In the spring and fall we have a very good chance of spotting black bears and Grizzly's scavenging on the beach! We frequently encounter resident Orca's, humpback whales, pacific white sided dolphins, porpoises, bald eagles and more! Tour Length: 6 Hours Includes beverages, snacks, and lunch

As a photographer I'll teach you to take amazing photos whether you’re packing the latest DSLR or a camera phone, and capture your memories with my camera at the end of our tour. As a guide with over a dozen years of leading hikes to Garibaldi Lake, I'll ensure your experience is safe and enjoyable, and you're properly prepared for the hike. Our small group size will ensure everyone's looked after as I lead from the back.

Enjoy nature and a beautiful ferry ride, while learning to take breathtaking photos! Your 6-hour tour includes pickup and drop-off from downtown Vancouver, return ferry ride to Bowen Island, an easy guided hike around Killarney Lake, and walk around the village shops, cafes and restaurants. Led by an experienced photographer and tour guide, you’ll learn to take amazing photos of nature, landscape, wildlife and architecture. We'll cover techniques like long exposure, aperture, white balance and ISO for DSLR cameras, as well as camera phone tips. Alternatively, we can do photo shoots instead of learning photography if that's your interest. The best camera to bring are DSLRs but you’re also free to use your camera phone. Photography lessons/shoots, guided hike and transportation including ferry are included in the cost. Comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing, camera (any kind) and a sense of adventure required!
