Fishing along the shoreline of several rivers in the stunningly beautiful Columbia River Valley. On these Walk & Wade trips you can expect detailed instruction. Demonstrating different casting methods, lure selection, and much more fishing/outdoor advice. We’ll be offering either fly-fishing or spin casting options. Walk & Wade trips will be fishing along the Columbia, Akolkolex and Eagle Rivers, depending on water conditions, and seasons. These trips will be including instruction on different fly-fishing cast, fly to use and different methods of present them, species identification, tying different fishing knots and other fishing/outdoor tips. Trips will be held on the Columbia River for the first couple months of operation. All fishing equipment necessary for the trip will be provided: tackle, rods, waders, photos / videos. Our destination: The Kinsol Trestle is one of eight trestles along the Cowichan Valley Trail route. One of the tallest free-standing and most spectacular timber rail trestle structures in the world. At 187 metres in length and standing 44 metres above the salmon bearing Koksilah River.
We'll park our bikes and find a nice place for lunch. Plenty of time to explore the trestle. Another great picture. The curved trestle among the forest really is something to see.
