Daily 9am-6pm
Highway Chetumal-Pto. Juárez, Tulum, Riviera Maya & the Yucatan, 77780

The Basics

Swim through underground rivers, dive into a cenote, traverse a floating bridge, and snorkel in lagoons filled with tropical fish, sea turtles, and manatees. On land, you can zipline above the canopy, rock climb, bike, or stroll through the jungle.

Day trips to Xel-Ha typically leave from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and the Riviera Maya, with some combining Xel-Ha and a stop in nearby Tulum. Xel-Ha is part of a network of related parks and experiences, including Xcaret, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenotes Oasis Maya, Xoximilco Cancun, Xichen, and Xenses. It’s possible to book packages that include admission to multiple parks.

Long all day adventure
This tour group does an excellent job with the operational component of wrangling people from their hotels to a national park in the middle of the jungle. It was very organized and the guides were very professional and polite. There was some heavy up selling on the paid features of this park but you absolutely do not need to pay. You will have plenty to do with the free “included options” in your park admission. The food is not good but eating isn’t a priority when you are cliff jumping and swimming all day!

The day started in a tropical down pour. What a bummer on vacation when it rains. But once in the park, personal items secured in a lockers, from the Zip Bikes to the Dolphin experience, we have an amazing time at Xel-Ha.

So many activities to choose from. Never far from a restroom, restaurant, bar or shower. Plenty of place to sit for a rest. Easy to navigate the park.

Fantastic experience! The views were amazing, everyone was attentive. The fact that food and open bar is included makes it worth it alone! Do all the activities and have a good time.

So much fun and so much to do. The only thing is that we did not know the drive there would take over 2 hours. The bus ride is picking up a bunch of people including you and driving you to the park and then the same case driving you back home… bring head phones and a full battery. Other than that the park was so much fun lots of amazing pictures you can take and the water is beautiful!!

We loved every second of our trip! We did dolphin swimming, cenote snuba, and a sea trek, finished off with a lazy river through the mangroves. Best day of our entire trip!!! (We spent $430 USD for the three activities, two people, worth EVERY penny)

I was apprehensive to use an outside booking source different than what my hotel offered especially after I was told by a rep inside my hotel that they could not guarantee the trip or anything associated with it. However, Viator's rep. was great in helping me book, explain in detail how the excursion would go and to my surprise the day was perfect. I was super impressed on how organized the bus rides were- I felt safe and clear on the activity for the day as they explained in detail, on the bus, what to expect and where to go. Xel Ha was beautiful, food was great and drink flowing. The activities that were included in my package were snorkeling, tubing, cenote, cave, a very cool water slide and food and drinks. If you want to do other activites bring extra money because there are other activities. The only think is be prepared to start at 7am til 6pm. You can always take a taxi back, we decided to stay the day. It was fun.
