How to Get There
From Colombo, it takes approximately two hours to reach the park by car via the B240 road. Or, take bus 99 or 314 from central Colombo.
When to Get There
Leisure World Water Park is open Tuesday through Sunday, and seven days a week during Sri Lankan school holidays. Rides operate from 9am to 5pm; the water area is open from 11am to 4:30pm.
Just a 30-minute drive from Leisure World, the Seethawaka Wet Zone Botanical Gardens are a beautiful place to wander around for a couple of hours. The park serves mainly as a research and conservation area for endangered plants from the Sinharaja rain forest.
