Dubai Museum

Al Fahidi Fort, Al Fahidi Street, Dubai

The Basics

Housed in Dubai’s oldest structure—built in 1787—the Dubai Museum gives visitors insight into a side of the city hard to imagine amid all the ultramodern skyscrapers. The museum is a highlight on many city tours, along with other popular Dubai attractions such as the Jumeirah Mosque, Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Creek, and the Gold and Spice souks.

I had done the city tour...
I had done the city tour on a previous trip to Dubai, before doing this one with ABC tours. Though the previous one was very good, This one was FAR better! We saw more and did more (like the abra ride and golden horses). The pace of the tour was excellent and the Guide (Nafeeza) and driver (Kareem) were superb! Nafeeza was super knowledgeable, patient and very understanding and helpful. If you are choosing this tour ask for her, you will have a perfect experience, like we did.

Dubai has proved to be the city of dreams

Dubai full day tour with Entry ticket to Burj Khalifa at the Top
Dubai, the city of dreams, is an ideal destiny for tourism especially in this pandemic because there are no unwanted covid restrictions. The City is lively as compared to Abu Dhabi, because Dubai has no Covid restrictions, but Abu Dhabi is full of restrictions. So we recommend people to spend most activities in Dubai only.

Dubai full day tour with Entry ticket to Burj Khalifa at the Top
Naveen was fantastic. Local, knowledgeable, patient, and so approachable. He went above and beyond in providing us information and tending to our individual questions. I appreciated the audio of the tour itself and the convenience of the air-conditioned, safe, clean his driving us around Dubai and even ending at Dubai Mall. Thank you for a great comprehensive tour of Dubai city!!

Big Bus Dubai Hop-On Hop-Off Tour
I did like the big bus. My only issue was that the stops on the app are not the same as the actual stops. The stop that was suppose to be at the Dubai Marina Mall does not exist anymore ( because of Covid). And there should be signs that indicate where the stops are; for instance " Big Bus stops here". Other than those issues I really like the concept. I would do it again

Dubai Aladdin Tour: Souks, Creek, Old Dubai and Tastings ( Small-Group)
Our guide, Mr. Abdallah from Sudan, was ab excellent, competent, inspiring and entertaining tour guide. He spoke good German, had detailed knowledge about Dubai history, society and culture and he was very friendly. The tour itself was well planned, and interesting, because of the variety of localities we could visit.

Dubai Aladdin Tour: Souks, Creek, Old Dubai and Tastings ( Small-Group)
I highly recommend this tour, it was way more educational than I expected, all places we visited were beautiful and the guide gave us great tips to haggle. The only downside is that you only have 15-20 minutes in each market to purchase things, so you will need to stay by yourself after the tour or go back another day if you want to shop more.

History of Al Fahidi Fort

Located on the southern shores of Dubai Creek, the 200-year-old Al Fahidi Fort was built at what was then the edge of urban Dubai to lend protection to the city. Throughout its history, the building served as an arsenal for weapons and artillery, and as a prison before it became a museum in 1971.
