Houston Zoo

6200 Hermann Park Dr, Houston, TX, 77030

The Basics

A standard admission ticket grants you access to the zoo’s extensive animal exhibits, while the next step up includes a single or multiple rides on the Wildlife Carousel. If you’re planning to visit more than one major Houston attraction, save money with a multi-attraction pass, which typically cover entry to the zoo, Downtown Aquarium, Space Center Houston, Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural Science, and more.

great cheap and easy fun
The City pass allows you to do so much with your family and it was cheap. Not having to worry about buying tickets at each place you visit is defiantly a bonus.

Easy and $ saver

Houston CityPASS
We saved a ton of money and it was super easy to use. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because they should keep the public updated on options due to covid. We explored Zoo, museum of natural science, space center and aquarium. We did not go to the boardwalk due to some not wearing mask before we e even entered and the children museum closed. We upgraded our aquarium pass to include the rides (cute options) overall I would recommend and use them again.

First day was great, but make sure you check to see if museums are open before you go. I will be going somewhere else today with the pass.

Great full city package

Best deal to visit many places in Houston. Didn't have to research for individual places to visit; 5 all-inclusive sites in one package. It was easy to use the mobile tickets at each place we visited. We loved the Space Center; enjoyed the Zoo; and had a blast at the Boardwalk. Museums were interesting.

The price for the city pass we well worth it. Suggestion: look for free admission on certain days and use the city pass for other locations. We were able to go to all the places we wanted.

All worked as expected. Visited 4 places off the list, citipass was accepted well. The process of redeeming the ticket in the arts museum was odd, they made me write down the long ticket numbers.

How to Get There

Parking at Hermann Park can be a challenge so it’s a better idea to take a taxi or rideshare to the zoo entrance. The Houston METRORail also stops within walking distance of the zoo; get off at the Hermann Park/Rice U Station.
