RAFT ADVENTURE - Na Pali 1/2 Day Snorkel
What a fun trip!! The guides were so much fun, very safety conscious but adventurous! We went into a couple of caves on the NaPali Coast, jumped waves, stopped and played with a pod of dolphins! It was my 61st birthday and I was the oldest one on the raft by 20 years! They asked several times if I was okay. Taking care of the geriatric passenger lol. Highly recommended!!

RAFT ADVENTURE - Na Pali 1/2 Day Snorkel
Our captain, Ian and crewmate, Landon were great. They were friendly and fun but also very professional, knowledgeable and safety-conscious. The Napali coast and caves were breathtaking and the water was such a beautiful blue. It was awesome to see the dolphins and our captain had a great music play list! Aside from being a little sea sick when the raft wasn’t moving, I would highly recommend. Thank you, Ian and Landon

RAFT ADVENTURE - Na Pali 1/2 Day Snorkel
Our tour guide, CJ a and Captain Drake were absolutely fabulous. They took their time to share the rich history of Kauai and it’s beautiful Na Pali Coast. This raft adventure was probably the best time I’ve ever had. They weren’t expecting us to go near the caves, but Mother Nature granted us permission on this day and Captain Drake gave us the adrenaline rush of a lifetime. SO MUCH FUN 10/10 recommend. Tip- wear a lightweight long sleeve UV protection top. Saves you from the burns on the ride!

LUCKY LADY - Deluxe Na Pali Sunset Tour
The captain and staff were amazing. Views of Na Pali coastline from the ocean were unmatchable. The ride out was a little longer than we expected but once you get to the destination it was well worth it, and the trip back easy and beautiful.

LUCKY LADY - Deluxe Na Pali Sunset Tour
Definitely the best NaPali Coast tour to date! Our captain was very informative and well versed in the native culture and traditions, the first time we have experienced the truly rich Hawaiian culture. The crew was amazing helping us "Live Aloha!" On our excursion, we saw sea turtles, monk seals, and spinner dolphins. Not to mention a brief with encounter with a lone Kahola! (Humpback in case you didn't know) All in all, the best tour to come back to with "Cap'n Kauai"!

How to Get There

The Na Pali Coast stretches for 16 miles (26 kilometers) along Kauai’s northwest shore. No roads lead into the Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park, and much of the coast is inaccessible due its extremely rugged terrain and sheer cliffs. To reach the trailhead for the Kalalau Trail, follow highway 560 to the end of the road, just past Ha’ena State Park.

When to Get There

Kauai’s weather is stable all year round, which makes it an excellent destination anytime of the year. The best time to hike the Kalalau Trail is during the dry season, which lasts from May through October. Winter is whale watching season, making it a great time for boat tours.

Hiking the Kalalau (Na Pali Coast) Trail

The Na Pali coastline is only accessible by foot via the Kalalau Trail. Backpackers typically take 3 days or more to make this incredibly scenic 22-mile (34-kilometer) round-trip journey. The trail traverses steep cliffs, requires several river crossings, and is very strenuous in spots. Day hikers can venture to Hanakapi’ai Falls, but permits are required to hike past the falls, even if you don’t plan to camp.
