We begin the tour in the very center, visiting the Church of St. Michael by famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik at Ljubljana Marshes, a natural reserve dedicated to conserving the unique natural environment of the wetland area, a scenic gorge of the Iška river with its rapid little rivers, sandbanks, numerous river pools and steep rocky banks. And very unique in the whole world! ‘Children of Socialism’, 'Via Ofenziva', ‘Ljubljana Dogs’, ‘Bastards’, ‘Berlin Wall’, ‘Ciao Bitches!’, ‘The Tattletales’ and ‘Niet’, these are just a few names of the bands that were turning an alternative scene into an opposition movement. The Slovenian punk scene was comprised of middle-class and working-class youth that was often beaten up and imprisoned by Communist authorities. However, many of the punk bands were supported by the League of Socialist Youth and were able to release their records on state-controlled labels. An interesting, diverse up-and-down kind of trail bike riding. You’ll be cruising among picturesque vineyards and small villages that make up an idyllic region known for its hospitality. At the end of our journey, you’ll have an opportunity to try the vineyard's produce by tasting some of the best wines of the region. Terrain: asphalt and gravel A diverse trail on a mixture of gravel and asphalt roads along the hills of Goriška Brda is easily accessible with e-bikes.

You may have heard of the Cliffs of Dover, but the cliffs of the Slovenian coast are a well kept secret. When you see the magic of Moon Bay for yourself, you’ll know why we want to keep it all to ourselves. Our tour will start in the port city of Koper where we will take the old road to Izola. We’ll explore meadows and orchards, ride along an abandoned railway track, descend through a tunnel down to the city of Portorož (literally meaning Port of Roses) and visit the Sečovlje Saltworks. On our way back, we’ll visit the picturesque city of Piran and take a refreshing dip in the Adriatic Sea. Terrain: asphalt and gravel This is a diverse trail that combines the flat coastal part with a hillier inland. E-bikes make this option also suitable for everyone.

Velika Planina spreads on the edges of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and is caught between the wonderful valley of Kamniška Bistrica and the Upper Savinja Valley. The shepherds that have been herding here for centuries know how fantastic this mountain haven is, far away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The shepherd’s huts themselves give the plateau its unique character, especially when the snow melts away and they come to life once again. The soft green lawns between the sinkholes and huts offer an idyllic cycling playground and astonishing views on the surrounding mountains.

This ride will take you through the beautiful scenery of Lake Cerknica, one of the largest intermittent lakes in Europe. The lake usually stays on the plain for about eight months per year and stretches over 20 km2, but at its fullest, the lake covers a surface of 38 km2 - becoming the largest lake in Slovenia. Your tour will take you along the lake's shore on a round trip through the picturesque karst valley of Rakov Škocjan, which was formed when the ceiling of a karst cave collapsed under its own weight. Remnants of the old cave ceiling remain to this day in the form of two natural bridges. The latter will be our pit-stop, as will another marvel of nature: a resurgence called Suhadolca, where water that fills the lake emerges. Terrain: mostly gravel The tour runs mostly along easy gravel roads and is suitable for everyone.

Just around the corner from Ljubljana, a trip to a genuine Slovenian plateau awaits. Renowned for its authentic architecture and beautiful views of the Ljubljana Basin and Kamnik–Savinja Alps, Velika Planina is a perfect MTB destination. The ride will take you through forests and open pastures with cows and sheep, past traditional alpine huts where you can even get an opportunity to meet “old-school” shepherds and get to know their cheese-making tradition. Terrain: gravel and dirt A tour through all types of terrain is highly customisable and suitable for everyone.

The Fusine Lakes, with their emerald colour, the view of the imposing Mount Mangart and the surrounding alpine nature never disappoint. Even better - this MTB route is considered among the most scenic in Slovenia. We’ll take a shuttle from Ljubljana and arrive at Mojstrana, which is the entry point to Slovenia's alpine world. There we’ll straddle our bikes and begin our journey. It will take us through thick forests and lush greenery to the two glacial lakes. The road is easy and except for the last part, almost completely flat. It is recommended for everyone who is looking for a relaxing ride with great views and a bit of a challenge, too. Terrain: mostly asphalt The tour is mostly flat and is suitable for beginners, families, and children.

Swap city streets for the natural charm of Slovenia’s countryside during a cycling tour from Ljubljana. Designed with families and active travelers in mind, this tour gives you a more intimate glimpse into the lakes and meadows of the area as you travel by bike, and eliminates the stress of parking and traffic jams.

This tour will take us from Kranjska Gora to the Tromeja peak (tri-border area between Austria, Italy and Slovenia), our most “mountainous” trail. But don't worry, the steep terrain won’t be a problem with our electric mountain bikes. A gravel forest trail will take us up to a scenic viewpoint on Tripoint and then down to the Italian side. The return back to Kranjska Gora will be easier, riding along the flat bike path and passing the spring of the Sava River, a beautiful natural phenomenon called Zelenci.
