Hollywood Hills

2917-2981 Runyon Canyon Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90046, Los Angeles, California

The basics

There are numerous ways to explore the Hollywood Hills. Many celebrity sighting tours will include a drive around the neighborhood, past the homes of the stars. Hiking is also a popular activity, whether to the Hollywood Sign, around Griffith Park or the Hollywood Reservoir, or in one of the many canyons in the area, such as Runyon Canyon. Horseback riding and cycling are also popular ways to get around. At night, check out the stars at Griffith Observatory, or catch a show or performance at The Ford or Hollywood Bowl. A tour of Hollywood Hills can easily be combined with a tour of other areas in Los Angeles, such as Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Santa Monica.

Griffith Observatory Hike: An LA Tour through the Hollywood Hills
The views. Definitely the views. We actually missed the tour because of poor planning with driving times, but it was still worth it. My husband has a fear of heights. I had totally missed that when I booked. We had a marvelous tour on our own and the views from the Observatory were priceless!

Official Hollywood Sign Hike: Walk to the Hollywood Sign on this LA Tour
Matt was the perfect tour guide and fun and factual, trip is around 4 miles with the first part up hill, you’ve got to have a certain level of fitness We are pleased we booked this trip, the path up to the sign isn’t straight forward plus you get to learn the history of the sign and the park

2.5 Hour Fright Sights Tour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills
Mitch was absolutely amazing. He tailored the tour to my personal interests and we got to explore multiple cemetaries. We even discovered new things together! He shared some truly fascinating stories and had a great sense of humor. I saw parts of the city I'd never seen before and learned not only the history, but all the fun gory stuff you wouldn't hear on an average ghost tour. I had a blast.

Our tour with Mark was great. He was friendly, courteous, and extremely knowledgable. Driving through the Hills of LA in an air-conditioned SUV on a warm and sunny afternoon was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend the tour, and ask for Mark.
