Viale Vaticano, Vatican City

The Basics

Small-group guided tours or skip-the-line tickets help guarantee hassle-free access to this popular attraction. Private morning tours offering early access (before the museums are open to the general public) are also excellent ways to enjoy the Vatican’s treasures in relative peace, while many group tours combine the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Gardens. If you’re traveling with kids, consider a kid-friendly guided tour that focuses on the museum’s highlights.

Faster Than Skip-the-Line: Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour
Our guide Alaura was excellent in keeping our group together. She stopped often to allow for questions. We never felt rushed despite the fact that covid has put time restrictions on areas.

Great tour and guide. Was poor on the directions to start the tour at. Its way north at museum entrance. Bring covid paper and passport. We thought it was just a garden tour. It was Sistine chapel and art.

Early Access Vatican Museums Semi-Private Tour with Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s
Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw the highlights and were able to continue exploring on our own. Did to Covid the crowds were very light except for in the Sistine Chapel. The 8:30 time slot helped with the crowds too.

Faster Than Skip-the-Line: Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour
Very clear and comprehensive commentary, the right pace for the tour, genuinely informative, and whole entry process to the Vatican was smooth- however due to Covid restrictions, visitors were probably 20% of normal capacity so there were No line ups - but when things are back to normal that I’m sure will change- but a positive experience

Skip the Line Vatican Tour Vatican Museums Sistine Chapel and St. Peter Basilica
Being greeted and informed in an orderly way for the tour beginning was great!. The size of the group was manageable and not too large. Patricio was friendly, very well spoken with beautiful English, super-knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. We loved the Sistine Chapel preview lecture with iPad to illustrate special and unusual tidbits, that couldn’t be missed. We felt like insiders! We were armed with knowledge, and it was the best event in our time in Rome. Thank you, Patricio.
