Roll the Dice Tour: Throw caution to the wind, dealer's choice tour!

star-5
1
On any given day in Seattle, there are experiences to be had that cannot be scheduled… Maybe its a super windy day, a rare and perfect time for visiting the Sound Garden! Perhaps the resident orcas will decide to swim in Elliott Bay, so lets go see them. Maybe Jeff B. is having a BBQ at the beach house, so let’s hop a ferry and head west for a few hours! This tour is a dealer’s choice tour for a max of 4 people (only 1 ticket needed for up to 4 guests), where you allow me to host a personalized “best of the day” adventure. (There is no actual gambling on this tour :-) You can tell me what you are interested in doing, and I’ll craft a fun outing for us. NOTE: I chose Capitol Hill as a step on the tour, but the rest of the tour could be anywhere!

Lonely Planet Experiences: Full Day Excursion to Olympic National Park

Lonely Planet Experiences: Full Day Excursion to Olympic National Park

star-4.5
2
Enjoy a small group tour to one of America's National Parks, and hike various trails in the Olympic Mountains. On your small group tour (up to 10 guests), you will be driven from Seattle on a scenic trail to the national park, where you will visit several areas of the park. Throughout the day, you will do 3-4 hikes, for a total of about 4.5 miles of gentle to moderate hiking, with as many breaks as you need. You’ll visit scenic Hurricane Ridge, one of the park’s gorgeous overlooks. On a clear day, you can see across the sound to Canada, but even on a cloudy day, there are ample opportunities to interact with the wildlife, including marmots and deer. You’ll visit Marymere Falls and Crescent Lake as well – two other favorite spots in the park. We recommend you dress in layers, and wear hiking boots (though they’re not essential). Please note: the hikes require a minimum level of fitness. You will be dropped off in central Seattle or at your hotel after about 12 hours.

Wine Tasting, Vineyards in Eastern WA from Seattle

Wine Tasting, Vineyards in Eastern WA from Seattle

Wine Tasting, in the vineyards. Head over the mountains into Eastern Washington, leaving the rainy coastal climate of Seattle for the sun-drenched desert hills of the Yakima and Columbia valleys. You'll see lush evergreen forests and semi-arid sagebrush on this interesting travel route to the wine country. Your guide will pick you up at your agreed upon location and heads east toward the Cascades. Visit both the Yakima Valley and Columbia Valley AVAs throughout the day, stopping at several different wine making estates. Sample wines from each, noting the differences imbued in each glass by the area's distinctive features, from soil and terrain to sun exposure and rainfall. Take a vineyard tour to roam among leafy rows of grape vines, and go behind the scenes at a winery to learn about the techniques and processes behind wine making in Washington. Stop along the way to complement your tastings with a tasty lunch,
