The archeological site of Tulum, an ancient Mayan port overlooking the crystal waters of the Caribbean, is a must-see on a visit to the Yucatan. Enjoy a detailed historical tour just as the site opens, when it is virtually empty and the morning light over the ocean is a treat. Known as the jewel of the Mayan Riviera, Tulum's old walls hold the secrets to a mysterious past of sun-gods, sea-trade, ritual and ancient tradition. We follow up with a visit to an exclusive cenote hidden in the jungle. The open sink hole in the middle of a labyrinthine cavern and the winding paths that lead us to it will delight your senses. A great combination of history, nature & culture in the heart of Tulum. You will be treated to a home made lunch after emerging from the cenote and relax a little before heading back to your hotel.

Recently selected as one of the New World Wonders, Chichen Itza is without a doubt one of the most spectacular and important archeological sites of the Yucatan peninsula and Mesoamerica. The Maya-Toltec style; which can be appreciated in Chichen Itza is the result of the cultural exchange between the different cultures of Mesoamerica. The excellent restoration of this ancient city makes it an absolute “must-see” destination for any visitor to the Yucatan peninsula interested in history and culture. After visiting Chichen Itza we cool off in an impressive cenote (flooded cave) where nature and mysticism will bring you to a whole new dimension.
