If you have just one day to visit Malta, then this tour is best suited for you! Price quoted is for an eight-hour tour, which includes the main sites normally visited by travellers to Malta, however, tailor-made tours can be arranged where clients can choose to visit other places, if they wish. From the old and silent city of Mdina to the rich capital, Valletta, walk through the prehistoric temple of Hagar Qim and take a traditional boat or dip your feet in the mesmerizing sea around the Blue Grotto, this tour takes visitors to Malta on a journey around the island and across thousand of years. Clients may request to stop to take pictures along the way any time. Please note that price quoted does not include any entry/admission fees to churches, museums, and other places nor any boat trips.
The idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its colourful luzzus and unique character make the unrivalled setting for the local market. This is the perfect place to spend a Sunday morning, where you can rub your shoulders with the locals as you browse through the various stalls. We continue our tour with a visit to the Blue Grotto (weather permitting – boat price not included) and the nearby caves. Admire the whole expanse of the blue Mediterranean and the islet of Filfla. Later our guide will help you explore one of Malta’s unspoilt villages. From the main square, the hub of the village with its parish church and band club, you will be led through a maze of winding narrow streets that all have a story to be told.
This half day guided tour will start with a tour of Malta’s medieval city of Mdina, Malta’s former capital. The narrow, winding streets, dating back to the Arab period, lead to the imposing bastions, commanding a panoramic view of the islands. On the way there, you will discover different styles of architecture, including the medieval Siculo-Norman palaces, and other baroque buildings of great historical importance. Time stands still in this ‘Silent City’ which is a film-maker’s paradise. Leaving Mdina through Greek’s Gate, we proceed to the cliffs at Dingli. The tour ends with a visit to the San Anton botanical gardens situated near the Presidential Palace, which you will be able to admire from outside.

We shall also spend time at the crafts centre at Ta’ Qali. At the end of the tour, allow us to astound you with Mosta’s majestic dome, one of Europe’s largest.
Popeye Village has grown from its days as a Film Set of the 1980 Musical Production “Popeye” into a unique fun-filled day for all families. You will be greeted by Popeye and his famous friends who will entertain you during the day by their diverse activities. Visitors can enjoy a once in a lifetime filming experience with the animation crew where you can become a movie star for a day. Other attractions include: Santa’s toy town, boat ride, water trampolines, sun-bathing decks. Your children can also have fun in Malta’s largest jump around. Do not miss spending a fun-packed day at this original film set. Return transfer from Popeye Village at 16:00hrs. Lunch not included and this excursion is not guided.
This is a very special guided tour, combining Malta’s foremost aristocratic palace with 400-year-old wine cellars where Malta’s premium wines are allowed to mature. Palazzo Parisio has been justly described as ‘a miniature Versailles’. Its intricate interiors contain fine frescoes, magnificent marble works, mirrored walls, tromp l’oeil, rare paintings and extravagant gilding. The beautiful landscaped gardens, acclaimed as being among the finest in Europe, reflect the splendour of this gracious home. After the opulence of the palazzo, one of Malta’s leading wineries welcomes you to its cellars where you will be given a detailed explanation of local wine making and invited to sample a selection of wines and local savouries.
Relive history at Fort Rinella, home to the Armstrong 100-ton gun – the world’s largest cannon. Combining lively historical re-enactments with expert commentary, this tour offers you an insight into the life of a late 19th century Victorian garrison in this coastal fort. You can witness the operation of the huge cannon, how the fort was defended and how communications were maintained with nearby forts. You are also given the opportunity to actually fire a cannon under the supervision of the fort's trained staff. English commentary is available on demand. This excurison is not guided.
The guided tour starts with a visit to one of Malta’s oldest quarries which has been transformed into an attraction for tourists and locals alike and which provides a vivid account of one of Malta’s leading skills – the use of limestone for building purposes, a skill that goes back thousands of years. The magic of Malta’s antiquity will be explained at Hagar Qim, Malta’s main pre-historic UNESCO site, overlooking the wide expanse of the blue Mediterranean and the islet of Filfa. From Hagar Qim you will proceed to Wied iz-Zurrieq where (weather permitting – boat price not included) you can take a boat trip to the Blue Grotto, renowned for its crystal clear waters. After lunch, we drive through local vineyards right up to the idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk. You will have time to stroll through the local market set out on its waterfront. Later we proceed to the cave at Ghar Dalam where archaeologists have unearthed ample proof that Malta once formed part of the European landmass.
