Lived Up to High Expectations

It’s rare a tour lives up to expectations but this one 100% did. Aaron was a great guide and very knowledgeable, and most importantly made sure the tour guests felt comfortable during the 13 hour trip. The sites were amazing and it was so cool seeing sea turtles and the glow from a volcano erupting. Definitely worth it and I would 100% recommend.

Volcanoes, stars and so much more!

Seeing an active volcano was amazing! We also learned about Hawaiian history, volcanoes history, toured a coffee farm, walked a black sand beach, visited the southernmost bakery in the USA, walked through a lava tube, saw the milky way and had an astronomy lesson. And much more. Dreu, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to be sure we got the best possible experience.

Hawaiian History and culture smorgasbord

Aaron knowledge and delivery of the history of Hawaii was like being in a classroom in a van plus a lot of charm included . I recently moved to Hawaii and this was the perfect tour to see and hear where I am living that gave me a greater appreciation and respect of the Hawaii culture . Extremely dedicated to his clients needs the entire day. Especially loved the Star gazing as again , he was very very knowledgeable . He truly know his Aloha .

Great organization to work with! From booking through drop off back at our start location this group is a pleasure. Our driver/guide was Aaron, grew up on the Island. He has incredible knowledge to impart on his charges! He is friendly and very engaging. The trip was awesome. We actually were fortunate enough to make a second trip back to Kilauea after dark to see the current eruption “glow”. Truly spectacular. Only thing I would suggest is that it’s a very long day and would not recommend for young children. Oh, and bring warm clothes for stargazing. It was wickedly windy at 6,000+ feet and in low 50’s the night we went even though it was still 80 down in Kailua. Burrr.

Aaron had a great knowledge of the areas we visited. Star gazing was best part. Couldn’t believe we saw so many stars. Finally could see the Milky Way.

Fantastic tour and highlight of our time!

Fantastic tour! We had Derek, who was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and excited. We loved the black sand beach, the volcano national park, and especially the star gazing. By far the highlight of our time on the big island so far. An added perk - Derek is quite skilled with a camera and took some great pictures of us as we are celebrating our honeymoon. Highly recommend!

Before we were worried it might feel too long. Shocked how fast it went and amazed how much we packed into the day!

Loved our guide Dastan. It was a wonderful adventure but his narrative and education puts it over the top. Enjoyed so much!
