Get picked up at your Bologna hotel or other accommodation to begin this full day excursion. Climb into the awaiting air-conditioned vehicle and head straight for Modena.
Visit one of the producers of Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale, traditional balsamic vinegar, with a guided tour of where this precious vinegar is made. Find out about the long process involved in making balsamic vinegar, which is aged at least 12 years. At the end of the tour, you'll have a chance to sample not only the 12-year-old balsamic vinegar but also some truly special 25-year-old vinegar.
After about an hour spent at the acetaia, your driver will transfer you to the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. You may rent an audio guide (own expense, €5 per person) or tour the museum on your own. Enjoy a 1-hour visit to this museum.
Continue to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello for another 1-hour stop. You may once again rent an audio guide (own expense, €5 per person) or visit the facility on your own.
Finally, climb back in the vehicle to head to a traditional Italian trattoria for a sumptuous 7-course lunch served over 2 hours, including local wines. At the conclusion of this delicious meal, you'll be returned to your original departure point in Bologna.

The Museo Ferrari in Maranello focuses on Ferrari’s present and future, whilst remaining deeply rooted in the Prancing Horse’s extraordinary history. A permanent exhibition dedicated to Formula 1 and the World Championship, complete with cars and a “pit stop wall” where visitors can gain an understanding of telemetry and pilots’ in-race driving behaviour, is flanked by five rooms that host themed exhibitions with wide-ranging appeal.

The space dedicated to Enzo Ferrari, rather than a museum in the traditional sense of the word, is a fascinating, exciting event that manages to combine truly unique elements: in the futuristic 2,500 m2 pillar-free hall visitors can get close and personal with the many cars exhibited, but also experience a show that – through an immersive biopic screened using 19 projectors – tells Enzo Ferrari’s incredible life story, spanning 90 years, taking them through his various incarnations: from the child who discovered racing at the beginning of 1900 to the pilot, from the manager of Scuderia Ferrari through to the manufacturer with so many triumphs to his credit.
