Very Educational Wine Tasting

We really enjoyed the wine tasting that also included an overview of all of the Bordeaux appellations. The museum is pretty limited but the tasting and shop are definitely worth a visit!

Hello, we are sorry to hear that your tasting wasn't informative enough. Our team always tries to answer to the questions our visitors have as much as they can, so don't hesitate on asking if you are curious about anything related to Bordeaux wines! Thank you for your comment! Best regards.

Was good experience. Interesting museum with some useful information about wine history and technology. Also wine testing was good but don’t expect it is going to last very long. Complimentary bottles of wine in the end was very nice surprise. Very reasonable price

The tour is interesting specific to the bordeaux field. The wine testing is worth it with the descriptions of the wine. I recommend to visit this museum.

An excellent introduction to the Bordeaux wine trade both historically and of recent times - good videos and displays and we enjoyed the included wine tasting

Curious little museum with excellent wine tasting at the end

This museum is full of information - jam packed, but it is all printed in folders or in little font on the wall. I imagine you could spend the allotted 2/3 hours, but we whizzed through in about 45 minutes, which was fine. It is basically two vaulted wine cellars, so it is a physically small space. The wine tasting was worth the price by itself. Again - packed with information, but because a guide is talking to you directly it is easier to follow. Detailed information about regions, soil, climate and trade. Not massively generous in the tastings, but you are in Bordeaux - step outside and fine a glass of wine if you just want to drink it. i would recommend this for the wine tasting at the end.

This is a self guided tour which works well considering the amount of detail provided. If you choose to take your time and really read and watch the videos provided, there is a lot of good and interesting information about the region and its history. And, of course, there is a bit of wine once you've finished!
