The host was excellent and engaging, really learnt a lot about Hungarian wine. Was a relaxing experience and you can taste at your own pace. All 5 wines were Hungarian and excellent and the cheese and charcuterie complimented the wines really well. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it. It's definitely worth the price!

Make sure you have a way to get home safely after this

I'm not a heavy drinker but you do get 4 generously sized glasses of wine and I was very buzzed after the whole experience. I very much enjoyed the little lecture we had on the different parts of Hungary where each wine is produced. The cheese and meats were delicious too. I do recommend this event to anyone visiting this country.

Thank you Peter for your kind feedback! If you enjoyed our wine, perhaps the next time you would like our one day tours to Hungarian wine regions or the Tasting Table's Winemakers Dinner, where all wines are paired with delicious Hungarian food. Until then, please check out Taste Hungary's wine club. Hope to welcome you again! Evi Faiola Reservation Manager

It could have been great

Our host was very interesting but the wines selected were a bit over the top. We were sincerely interested in shipping a case of something home but what we sampled wasn't really representative of what we sampled in restaurants.
