Great excursion
, Jul 2021
We had a wonderful day! We experienced new activities and all agreed that this was by far the best excursion we went on in Mexico.
Do not go through Viator for excursions!
, Jul 2021
The park was great, however the transportation through Viator was nothing but trouble. They wouldn’t accept our tickets and had to make an “exception” to let us on with the tour bus, even though the rest of our family who got their tickets on Viator at the same just a different order number because they paid with a different card we’re able to get on quickly. In order to save time and frustration for the next days excursion, I spoke with the tour guide who was adamant that she confirmed tomorrow’s transport for us and that there would be no issues. The next day, we were also denied entry on the tour bus because our tickets weren’t on their pick up list. I will never go through this site again. We had to pay to get a taxi which was expensive and unnecessary because we were supposed to have transport included with the tickets.

I was apprehensive to use an outside booking source different than what my hotel offered especially after I was told by a rep inside my hotel that they could not guarantee the trip or anything associated with it. However, Viator's rep. was great in helping me book, explain in detail how the excursion would go and to my surprise the day was perfect. I was super impressed on how organized the bus rides were- I felt safe and clear on the activity for the day as they explained in detail, on the bus, what to expect and where to go. Xel Ha was beautiful, food was great and drink flowing. The activities that were included in my package were snorkeling, tubing, cenote, cave, a very cool water slide and food and drinks. If you want to do other activites bring extra money because there are other activities. The only think is be prepared to start at 7am til 6pm. You can always take a taxi back, we decided to stay the day. It was fun.

Rain or shine fun!
, Jun 2021
The day started in a tropical down pour. What a bummer on vacation when it rains. But once in the park, personal items secured in a lockers, from the Zip Bikes to the Dolphin experience, we have an amazing time at Xel-Ha.

So much fun and so much to do. The only thing is that we did not know the drive there would take over 2 hours. The bus ride is picking up a bunch of people including you and driving you to the park and then the same case driving you back home… bring head phones and a full battery. Other than that the park was so much fun lots of amazing pictures you can take and the water is beautiful!!
No place to cool down, breakfast not good and nothing to see while snorkeling
, Jun 2021
Unfortunately I did not enjoy Xel-Ha . The food at the buffet was not good and there was not escape from the heat. I wish there had been areas where we could cool off. Snorkeling was also disappointing, because there was Nothing to see. There were very few fish and the water was was murky.
Amazing honeymoon
, May 2021
Absolutely beautiful. We loved the water and of course the food! We had an amazing honeymoon here! !!!
Best Day of our Entire Trip!
, May 2021
We loved every second of our trip! We did dolphin swimming, cenote snuba, and a sea trek, finished off with a lazy river through the mangroves. Best day of our entire trip!!! (We spent $430 USD for the three activities, two people, worth EVERY penny)
Great experience, will do again when masks aren’t required.
, May 2021
The park was absolutely gorgeous and very very clean. All of the staff were friendly and nice. My only suggestion is that they should provide disposable masks to guests at the restaurants. It was really a pain to walk to and from lockers to get our masks and then put them back each time we wanted something to eat. You put your masks in the lockers for all of the water activities since you can’t swim in them. On a hot day, walking back and forth so much for masks was just a pain. Also, “all inclusive is very enticing” but the food and drinks are only in the central area, which we weren’t near very often. Whenever we were, there was always a long line to get anything to drink...and this was after walking to and from the locker to get the masks. They would give you as many drinks as you wanted, but who wants warm beer or melted drinks? It would be nice if they had a few more drink stands located throughout the park. For how little we ate and drank, the all inclusive didn’t matter much. The air conditioned bus ride was nice, however; from Cancun it was 2 hours there and 2 hours back. Would only do this again if staying in Play Del Carmen or Tulum area. We were starving and thirsty on way back!
Amazing day trip!
