Mark, our guide, was superb. He knew so much history and many first-person stories that helped paint a rich picture of “Chaaaston” past and present. The walk was a great use of our time here in your beautiful city.

Out tour guide was chock full of information that even the history major (and frequent visitor to Charleston) in our group was pleased to learn. Jim has well researched details and history of Charleston homes and events. It was very enjoyable. We highly recommend!

Fantastic tour and true to the name, plenty of alleys, passage ways, and other small streets. Jim, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and kept things moving along. The two hours went by very quickly. We learned so much history and fun facts about the city and it’s architecture.

Steve was a fantastic guide. His passion for the city and its history is unmatched! We also got the meet the long-time mayor of Charleston, and learned a ton! We had two little kids, and this would have been a stretch without a carrier and a stroller.

Best two hours in our 24 hour stay!

Our tour guide, Jim, was phenomenal. The amount of information he gave us in two hours was astounding and fascinating. I would never have appreciated the historic district to the extent I did without this tour. He truly brought Charleston’s unique history to light. All family members loved the tour and want to come back ASAP. We only had 24 hours in Charleston, those two hours spent with Jim gave us an enlightened lens to view Charleston!!!
