A Great Way to see Charleston

We have taken many city tours but this one was one of the best. Dustin, our guide, did a great job of showing us his city. The pace was just right and his insights and humor made this a memorable tour. Thanks!

This was an amazing tour- and I’ve taken many. Dustin added charm, humor, and a solid understanding of history to keep everyone entertained for two hours! It should be the best tour in town

Not very informative

Honestly we wanted to love this tour and have always had a great experience when booking viator… but it wasn’t great. For starters one person in our party couldn’t make it and although they sent messages and called the number they never heard back and were unable to get a refund even though it was several days before the deadline for canceling. Then, when it comes to the actual tour itself the guide said he was “filling in” for the usual person and it was very noticeable. We learned more about his personal life than we did about Charleston. We specifically booked this tour because this city has so much rich history that we wanted to learn about … but I guess we will have to research on our own since sadly the tour wasn’t nearly as informative as we had hoped.

Do you like a small group tour that is authentic with a passionate guide. This is a must for the first visitor with Dustin. Dustin is witty informative and an amazing historian of knowledge. This not the typical tour guide , he has a wealth and depth of the history of Charleston with a dithers flair.

Dustin is well-versed in the history of the city and he was able to convey that genuinely as we walked through the various stops on the tour. As a teacher I valued his ability to reflect the human side of history to bring us to a deeper awareness. I would highly recommend this tour to all who visit the beautiful city of Charleston!
