Very friendly staff. It was great to hear about the architecture of the city. There was so much information and the tour guide was awesome. And the horse was so cute. It would be good to hear some info on who was on the land before it was settled and more about civil war and emancipation. Easy to use this site to get tickets. thank you

What a great tour!! We loved our guide and the horse!!! Go Greyson!!! I was with my (elderly) mother in law and my (disabled/blind) husband. Both thoroughly enjoyed this trip and your staff was helping with getting my husband on/off the carriage safely! I would recommend this trip to all. The guide was a young man that attends a nearby Christian College -- he was SO knowledgeable and fun!!! He brought the tour "to life" through his words and my husband saw it, verbally! Amazing!

Guide contradicted his own info and gave inaccurate info more than once. Did not share a lot about Charleston history but just gave some "facts" here and there about multiple things. Some stuff sounded made up. Horse's shoe came loose midway and he said we needed to go back to barn but then took several detours on the way back. Made fun of people that would tell him the shoe was loose-we had 15 people and he said his record was 20. Evidently this happens quite a bit. It was sad, embarrassing to be riding it that way and there was no compassion given to the horse. Carrier said this had just happened to this horse on same foot and then when asked said it didn't hurt them-like wearing a bad pair of flip flops. Well-guess what, walking miles in a bad pair of flip flops hurts! Poor Pickney!

My husband and I had a great time on our carriage tour. I don't remember our tour guide's name, but I know she is a high school history teacher. She was very knowledgeable. She adds in a few jokes here and there. I will definitely encourage you to take a ride on this carriage if you are visiting Charleston. 4/8/2021
