Perfect day in the river

Our guide was AMAZING! She was so informative, stopped so we could all watch the dolphins (including a tiny baby dolphin), and pointed out all the other wild life. It was beautiful, peaceful and so much fun!

Well organized and lots of fun! The guide was super kind and knowledgeable about the local marine life and some of the geology and geography as well. I really enjoyed learning how to use the pedal-assisted steering system they had for the kayaks. It was my first time using them, so it took some time to get used to it. However, once I was, it made maneuvering in the water much easier.

Beautiful way to spend a morning!!! Katie did a wonderful job and it’s obvious she is very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. The tide was going out that morning (with a full moon that night) so it was quite a workout on the way out. But…. Overall a super experience!

We were able to see two dolphins up close as they swam by feeding on fish. First they were out in front of us about 50 fifty feet and they popped out of the water right near our kayaks.

What a Great Way to Start the Day!! Early morning kayaking on the Bowens Island. Our guide Allie was knowledgeable and friendly. We spotted dolphins, learned about the ecosystem and spent some quiet time. A must addition to your visit in the Charleston area. I would recommend doing that as a morning activity and Folly Beach in the afternoon. Q

Our guide was extraordinary. He made sure we were comfortably set with the equipment and technique. The staff was helpful in the launch and landing process. Once out on the tour, our guide provided an extensive knowledge of the ecosystem and all the species in it. He made sure we were safe and comfy the entire time. I could not have asked for more.
