Gulf of Mexico Airboat Ride and Dolphin Quest from Homosassa

Cpt Fish is an amazing airboat driver!! We had a thrilling and wonderful experience!!! We saw dolphin, a bald eagle, hawks, spider monkeys (yes!!), crane, sat in the shallow waters of the gulf, and had great conversation!!

We saw lots of dolphins and our tour guide did a lot to help us see them for a long time. Informative about the River and sea life.

Absolutely incredible as always!!! Captain Fish was fun and informative and thoroughly knowledgeable about the waterways and Gulf waterways. truly a "don't miss" attraction on Florida's Nature Coast!

Extremely fun trip. We all enjoyed the sites and the ride. Captain Irish Dave was knowledgeable and interesting.

This airboat ride was great. The first part goes slowly out of the harbor in Homasassa past Monkey island and all the osprey nests on the channel markers. The pier from which the boat departs is quite low key and easy to find, and the seating is three in front and three in the second tier on the airboat, so there are no bad seats. Our day was overcast, so we did not have rain, but did have a hot day of occasional sun as the boat glided out tot he shallows among the grasses of the edge of the gulf of Mexico. Our guide took us to a shallow area to see sponges and fishes for which he cut the loud motor so we cold glide around. He was looking for rays, that he said usually were in that area, but we did not see any. We moved to another area to see a large rookery of pelicans by the hundreds, and then piles of oyster shells from ancient Indian villages that once were there. The most fun was when he opened up the throttle and took us skittering very fast across the water among the sea grasses. It was so loud you could not have any conversations, and all riders are required to wear protective ear gear that they provide. I was glad I went and would love to do it again.

Tour was great....captain Bob was good source of info...Highly recommend, might suggest better hearing protectors, but minor annoyance...Was awesome!!

Captain Randy was terrific! The air boat ride was thrilling and the natural beauty was wonderful. We saw Dolphins, manatees, and lots of birds. A terrific excursion for anyone!

Had an absolute blast! Captain Bruce was a hoot! Very knowledgable and a stickler on safety but was a hoot and gave us a great tour. Well worth the money.
