Crab Island Sandbar Adventure

We had a great captain. He was a lot of fun and very helpful. Made the trip fun and us wanting to do this again the next time we come

Our Captain was knowledgeable and informative of the local area. The water was great and the afternoon was fun.

We had a great time! Met new friends and our captain was cool. I just didn’t like that the water looked like collard green juice. But I guess that was out of our hands lol

Lance was an amazing captain. I would recommend for any couple or group to have a great time on the water. We even seen dolphins!

We had a great time, bring your own alcohol though. Crab Island was a fun chill place to hang out at.

We went out on the 1:30 excursion and a storm blew in. After maybe an hour, we had to come back in. We were given an alternate date or offered a partial refund. We took the alternate date and go out today. We feel like big winners. We absolutely loved the short trip and look forward to going again tomorrow.

Family friendly awesome excursion. Captain was friendly, provided cold bottled water, blew up our floaties, and was very helpful and nice with our children ages 8 & 10. We departed at 10am and returned at 1pm. A perfect morning.

We had such a BLAST during this excursion! Captain Moondoggy was great and he brought floats for us to use while we were out there. The music was great and it was the COOLEST experience. Everyone else out there were so jealous and kept coming over to see the tiki. Hubby and I just floated and drank the whole afternoon. Perfect day! 10/10 would recommend and will do again! 👍🏻 ❤️

Wonderful trip! We were fortunate enough to have one couple that had reservations not show up so it was just the floor in our group on a private tour. It’s very simple and straightforward you head out to crab Island which is hundreds of Boats all floating together in about 4 feet of beautiful water and white sand. It does take about 15 or 20 minutes to get out there and back each way but it’s absolutely worth it. Our captain Kevin was awesome and made the trip even better. Kevin was very laid-back experienced and easy-going and made us feel very comfortable from the get-go. I would recommend seeing if you can get Kevin on future tours. The boat is clean and safe and you have the luxury of either sitting in the Tiki boat or being in the water. When you get to crab Island you will find vendors driving around selling merchandise as well as a general store a hamburger shack and others riding around selling ice cream and snowcones. I would recommend doing your research on crab Island before you come out. One thing to note is that you cannot get alcohol so make sure you bring your own which you can put in provided coolers. There are virgin daiquiris you can buy once you get to the island but you will need your own mixers. I would also recommend bringing something to float on as again you are in the water or on the boat. This is not what I would really call an island just a very large sandbar with hundreds of people hanging out together on hundreds of boats. Overall again we had a wonderful time and we would recommend this to all. One funny thing is because you look like a floating bar you will get several people to swim up and ask if they can buy a drink. I would recommend bringing a few extra drinks and selling them for a few bucks. Of course that might be illegal so maybe do your research before you do that too LOL!
