Overview

See Dubrovnik’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Stari Grad, literally Old Town, from the Adriatic Sea aboard this romantic sailing cruise in a 16th-century ‘karaka’ (carrack) replica. Nurse a glass of sparkling wine and gaze at the horizon as the sun sets. Sit on the deck and gawk at the Old Town with its red-tiled roofs and thick medieval walls. Indulge in the onboard buffet, loaded with delicious Dalmatian goodies.

Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Wander the streets of Dubrovnik’s Old Town until you reach the city’s old port. Here, board the replica of a 16th-century galleon for an evening of sailing, sipping, and savoring southern Dalmatian delights.

With the sun setting on the horizon, lounge on the deck with your fellow passengers and take in the stunning views of the amazing Adriatic Sea, verdant Lokrum Island and, of course, the tall medieval walls that surround UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town of Dubrovnik.

Sip a glass of bubbly and converse with your fellow shipmates, sharing stories about your time in the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic,’ as the city has historically been called. And then begin to feast on an onboard buffet, filled with locally made cheeses and meats, including cured prsut, the Dalmatian version of prosciutto. See See the Itinerary for a sample menu.

Graze on your dinner as the boat cruises around Dubrovnik. Pass by verdant Lokrum Island, where some legends claim Richard the Lionheart was once shipwrecked on his way back from the Crusades in the Holy Land.

Then, disembark at Dubrovnik’s old harbor, where the cruise concludes.

Amazing experience

I booked this as a birthday treat for my husband whilst in holiday in Cavtat. After spending the day in Dubrovnik we boarded at 6pm. The boat is gorgeous, staff were very friendly, everything ran smoothly and the food was lovely with a very good variety. Seeing the sunset was the best part of the evening. I would highly recommend.

What a fun boat to take a leisurely cruise from the Old Harbor in Dubrovnik. Not crowded, smooth sailing and wonderful food was served by the crew. While the tour can't guarantee a perfect sunset, they sure came through on this day. Thanks for providing such a great time.

BRILLIANT EXPERIENCE! Truly a 'Pirates of the Caribbean' boat! BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED!! Would have given it 5 starts but for the dinner!!!! Suggest you eat well before OR as soon as you dock at many delicious restaurants all around! But...a an absolute 'MUST' especially for the beautiful sunset!!!

We booked this dinner cruise for our first evening in Dubrovnik and it was the perfect way to start the holiday. Great food, great scenery. The only disappointment was the sails were not open which would have really added to the atmosphere.

Gorgeous views, but a bit long

The views of Dubrovnik old town at sunset were stunning and make this trip worth it all by themselves. But, the entire journey was a bit long and once the sun had set, we were sorta just going around without much purpose. The food was ok, nothing special but not bad either.

Left port with a setting sun and glass of bubbly. Nice buffet meal. Returned in glorious moonlight. Helpful crew and very pleasant relaxing evening.

Good for a quiet evening out

Mostly a nice experience however as usual for these trips, the drinks were basic, the gangway ladder to the pier was left in the middle of the outer deck which was danger and in the way during sail. No staff member spoke. Maybe would have been nicer to hear information on the speaker about the local history. Other than that ok for a little romance maybe but there will always be that annoying tourist and child!!

Trip around an island for food and back

There was no safety messages before departure. Kids stopped having an icecream going on board. Literally went out to sea had food and came back. A bit of information about everything around us would be nice. Very poor.
