Returns to original departure point
Get picked up at your hotel in Dubrovnik and then hop inside the air-conditioned vehicle to make the drive south to Montenegro. Drink in the views of the Adriatic Sea and the Dubrovnik Riviera and learn about the history and culture of the area from your local guide.

After crossing the border to Montenegro, twist and turn with the road, going around the large Bay of Kotor, and passing through charming villages along the way. Then stop in Perast, a lovely town at the base of St Elijah Hill. Consider taking the optional boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks island to check out the baroque-era church (at own expense).

The next stop is Kotor, situated in a fjord and one of the most eye-pleasing Montenegrin towns. Once there, begin a walking tour that goes throughout the squares and narrow cobbled streets, taking you to historic churches such as the Cathedral of St Tryphon. Then take some free time to do some wandering—consider marching up the 1,350 steep steps to the San Giovanni Castle for an incredible view and photo opportunity—or sit down for a drink or a snack (at own expense).

After Kotor, head to Budva, a gorgeous walled city on the sea boasts attractive beaches and narrow cobbled streets. Take some free time to explore or sit down for a meal (at own expense).

Take a ferry ride across the Bay of Kotor and then enjoy a final scenic drive along the coastal roads of Montenegro to end your day. You are returned to your Dubrovnik hotel.

A day to remember trip

I have never experienced such a wonderful one day trip in my life. Andrew, you are a brilliant tour guide and amazing driver to be with on a trip. Absolutely hilarious trip and yet full of historical information about the key places and events happened in the past over the region. Andrew was right on time and made it clear for everyone to be on time in between the places so that it’s not uncomfortable for others. We tried his recommendations during the trip and trust me it was worth trying moscow cake in Kotor, lunch at sea side in Budva. He showed us more than what was there in the trip details. If you ever want to witness ‘a day to remember’ moment then book this tour with Andrew. Thanks a lot Super tours and Andrew.

Very well organised trip. The lady who was our guide made sure we made the most of all our stops by suggesting what we should see. We had plenty of time at each place. Kotor and Budva and beautiful places to visit and I would recommend this trip as a part of your itinerary.

The tour guide was very nice and gave lots of information. I liked everything except that the AC on the van was not working and it was extremely hot.

Montenegro day trip

This tour was good, with sufficient time in the main attractions. Some frustrations was that we were tasked to have cash for small payments to enter Kotor (not expensive, but why wouldn't they just add it to the price of the ticket and simplify). Felt lower energy from the guides. Still a good experience and really glad we went!

TONYA was a great guide. Very informative, kind and helpful. The driver did an excellent job, felt very safe traveling. The only negative would be the mini vans AC was not working very well after our first stop to Budva. It was never mentioned or shared why, it very very uncomfortable with the current temperature. I would highly recommend your vehicles are in the best operating shape before taking it out.

Nice trip and intinerary but our guide was grumpy and not so involved that’s a pity. Thé stop in Kotor is really nice.
