I overall had a pretty good experience. I had to wait an extra 10 minutes at my pickup location, but that was to be expected. My tour guide was Maria, who was informative and relatively nice. I was able to get one for $60 per person, which was great for the amount of things on this tour. I wish there was more time in Kotor, but it was still very enjoyable.

Interesting and educational tour. Sylvia provided a very informative and engaging experience. The pace allowed us to absorb the information and connect to the sites. Could not be more pleased. She also provide recommendations for dining as we returned to our hotel. Our driver was pleasant and safe and the vehicle was clean/comfortable.

An interesting way to spend the day

We did the day tour from Dubrovnik to Montenegro, which overall, was quite a nice day out. The border crossings were smooth and travelling with the company felt very safe. The guide was friendly and we got a reasonable amount of time in both Perast and Kotor. The local guide that took us for a half hour through Kotor's walled old town was quite quirky and spoke very quickly. The couple of issues we had was that the guide didn't tell us as much about the culture as we had hoped but we also didn't ask as many questions as we could have, and there was a mix up with the pick up times - one document said 7am, another communication I had said 7:20am. Not a big deal and otherwise the tour operator was very helpful and quick to assist.

The guide was wonderful and the destinations beautiful. However, I did feel like time was short in the different locations. If you want a thourough tour of Kotor, this is not the trip for you!

Beautiful day out

I was looking for a taster of a country I had never visited before. This was a tour with quite a bit of driving on smallish roads - quite bumpy at times - but in some spectacularly beautiful scenery. There were 19 guests (the maximum) on my tour, with the guide Tiana who was very interesting and had some good jokes! She got the commentary just right - not talking all the time, but giving us plenty of insights into the country we were visiting (Montenegro), including from the point of view of her own country (Croatia) as well as more generally. Pickup time from my hotel was very early in the morning but exactly at the promised time and all the arrangements worked smoothly. The minibus takes a while to pick everyone up, but then we made good progress because it was a Sunday in October and there was not too much traffic. Border crossing was easy - we were told that this is often not the case in high season, and also takes much longer with a big group. Perast was pretty and we had time to wander around and take photos. The trip to Our Lady of the Rock (artificial island) was interesting but quite crowded - we then continued by boat to Kotor, with some commentary by a local guide. This was a lovely way to arrive in Kotor. Local guide then gave us a quick tour of the Old Town, again very crowded because there were cruise ships in the bay, before giving us a couple of hours free time to get lunch or explore. I walked up to the Fortress - a very hot and exhausting walk with 1,350 steps but definitely worth it if you like that sort of thing, and a fantastic view at the top. The return journey was fine and we were back at the hotel around 5.30pm.

Had a lovely time visiting Montenegro. Not too long of a day and some great historical information to take on board. Both guides were fantastic and I highly recommend this tour

This was an excellent day trip that I would gladly recommend. There were long hours on the bus but the countryside afforded some lovely views. Our driver and Croatian guide were kind, thoughtful, and organized. Our Montenegrin guide was a great storyteller and compelling to listen to. Both Perast and Kotor were excellent cities to visit: each beautiful and intriguing in their own ways. We also lucked out with both our border crossings, they were quick and easy. The only thing I would have wished for is a little more free time to explore both cities.
