Relaxing Tour

The tour was a lot of fun. You get a fair amount of wine and good treats. Also amazing views of the Tuscany and the bus was really comfortable.

Fantastic value, fun, friendly and great wine in generous amounts

First winery gave very generous plate of delicious food. Catered for vegetarians and gluten free. Very generous amounts of wine. Entertaining and funny talk from lovely vineyard owner. The tastings are indoors, at seated tables, so it's ok even in the rain (we had a heavy downpour while inside). Everyone very jolly and friendly on the bus back. A fantastic afternoon.

Absolutely loved this experience. Our guide was great, speaking in both English and Spanish for all guests. The two wineries we visited were excellent; both pretty different from each other so there's something to suit all parties. Vegans and vegetarians were catered to which made this a 5 star trip!

The best tour ever! The bus had recliner seats and great AC and it goes to 2 wineries which you sit and they serve you & explain how they create the wine. This tour was fun and you get to see Tuscany in half a day👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A wine Trip You Must Take
Michele_G
, Aug 2022
The trip was extremely organized. They had a schedule which they kept the entire time. The drive is about 45 minutes to the first winery. It is run by a family and the grandpa joined us by pouring wine and singing. It had a local family vibe. The wine tasting was located inside their tasting room. We sat at tables and were given cheese, bread, meats and biscotti along with the wine. The man in charge was informative and took his time. We were not rushed at all. The 2nd winery had gorgeous views. The woman was very informative and seemed to enjoy her job. The only drawback is that the tasting room is small and we had 42 people. There were a few seats along the wall, but most had to stand. (reason for 4 stars) They put out 3 trays with cheese, bread and meat. It was gone within minutes and not replenished. Our tour guide Sara and bus driver, Rosario were great. Driving a bus on those hills takes some skill.

The two wineries were fantastic. The bus and driver were not. The a/c was horrible on the first leg even after we asked for it to be colder. Everyone was hot and miserable. It got better as the afternoon went on. The driver did a lot of slamming on the breaks.

The wines that we drank were all introduced with some interesting facts and tips on food pairing. Both wineyards were beautiful.

The journey to Tuscany from Florence is beautiful. The first winery we stopped at was amazing, they offered a lot of wine to taste and pared it with meat and cheeses. Be prepared for a very hot bus ride the AC does not work that well in the bus and it is very hot out.

We went to two vineyards, where we could taste a variety of 5 wines each. All of them were good. The first vineyard was smaller and the owner took us to the caves where they store and age the wine and explained the difference in aging techniques. The second was bigger and had more informal vibe. The owner was very nice and playful and even thought everyone how to taste wine. Besides the wine he gave us white truffle oil to taste. The guide was super nice. Amazing experience.

The 2nd winery was good but the first lacked personality and the host didn’t really interact at all. Way too much driving for 2 wineries. Our guide was terrible don’t remember her name but not good.

Never made the trip!

Did not make the trip. Directions to the meeting point were not clear and when put on google maps, we were sent the wrong way. Don’t have international calling so couldn’t call. Found the meeting place 15 minutes late, tour bus gone. Not happy. So, unless you know your way around Florence, Don’t Do It!

The tour was fun. We feel as though a few minutes for pictures could be built into the time slot at each winery. More options of the olive oil and balsamic vinegar tastings could make the experience better. Otherwise, we had a great time!

Definitely recommend this tour as an easy option if you want to explore a few Tuscan wineries. It was very well organized! The bus has air conditioning, left on time and was about 45 mins to the first winery. You also get bread, meats and cheeses at each stop and sample olive oils. The wines you can purchase are a bit pricy, but overall it was a great experience and we learned a lot too!

Great half day trip

Great trip to some great vineyards. The tour was larger than I expected (close to 50 people for the morning tour). We did run a little longer than planned so we were rushed for our afternoon plans. We purchased 4 bottles of wine to bring home. Overall good experience. The tour was tame despite it being catered to younger wine enthusiasts.

The tour was wonderful. Great way to go to some winery’s with no hassle. The tour guide Anastasia was fantastic and went above and beyond to get my parents a cab. The bus driver Arturo was great as well.

It was an amazing peek into the Chianti wine region!

Both wineries each had a different character. A bit rushed on the first one as our bus couldn't make the shortcut and had to maneuver through the narrow roads getting there. The second one was truly delightful. But overall was a great sample of Tuscan wineries and Chianti wine region was absolutely beautiful.
