Returns to original departure point
Fiat 500s were first introduced in Italy in the 1950s and quickly won the hearts of Italians for their stylish looks and affordable prices. Nowadays, vintage models are harder to come by, but you’ll have the rare chance to ride a 1960s model on your tour.

Join up with your guide in central Florence and head to the garage where your retro car will be waiting for you. A safety overview will be provided as well as a test run with car’s manual gears to ensure you’re comfortable before hitting the road.

Then, you're off! Your guide will keep in constant radio contact ahead as you follow through the city streets and up into the hills of Tuscany. Stop to see the beautiful Romanesque design of the Church of San Miniato al Monte, noted by many as the country’s most beautiful church, and soak up the surrounding views of Florence below.

Hop back in your Fiat and journey deeper into Tuscany, pausing for photos and passing through charming hillside towns. Your guide will lead the way to a private terrace, where you and your group will enjoy a traditional Tuscan meal, complete with regional specialties such as crostini and cured salami. After your stomach and taste buds have been sated, you will drive back to your original departure point in Florence.

This activity was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. It was fun and easy to drive an old Fiat. You must know hoy to drive a stick shift. The drive thru the countryside was beautiful with great stops along the way. Our lunch was outstanding!

This was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. The Fiats are fun to drive and you get the most amazing views of Florence and the Tuscan hillside during the stops. Good photo opportunities. The guide was very knowledgable and the lunch was great too. I would definitely recommend doing this tour.

The tour was great. We were able to see a lot in a short amount of time. There were some amazing views. This tour is a mix of the vintage Fiats and people on vespas. First, unless someone in your group is comfortable driving a stick shift you will not be doing the Fiat. If someone is then it’s a nice we to relax and take in the sights. My husband drove which allowed me to take plenty of photos and videos. It was nice to have the back seat for my backpack and a coat. Second, he hasn’t driven a stick in years (maybe over a decade) so it wasn’t as smooth. A lot, and I repeat a lot of the people on vespa drivers seemed very uncomfortable. They are automatic, Which made it very easy for them to navigate. Howeverso which made it very easy for them to navigate. However they would slow down, and all go at different paces which made it hard for us in the Fiat. If you do take a Fiat I would recommend being in front of the Vespa drivers. They would break so quickly that it was difficult for us to follow the group and have enough space for us to stop. We considered renting a car ourselves and driving out into Tuscany, But there is no way we would’ve been able to navigate small roads and but there is no way we would’ve been able to navigate small roads and know where where we’re going. Overall it was worth it, and I would recommend it to anyone. It’s great for couples, it’s great for solo traveler, It’s great for friends. Sites for beautiful, there were plenty of times to stop for pictures, and the food was delicious. The tour guide was very informative and very fun.

This has to go on your list of things to do in Florence. Great drive up into the Tuscan hills with a stop for lunch and a glass of Chianti. Our guide was great with some informative commentary along the way.

Because the Vespas and the cars (we were in a car) were together we spent over an hour of our tour sitting and waiting for one of the Vespas to be repaired. About half of the tour was downtime sitting around because the tour guide could not leave the couple on the Vespa and could not get it to run. Dario our guide was excellent

Great fun to drive a vintige Fiat 500 through Firenze and outside the city. The tour was combined with a group of Vespa drivers. That's maybe something worth considering changing... I think some roads were not that suitable for scooters and to split up cars and scooters, with each group having a guide of their own, may also be a bit safer. The lunch was very good. Would absolutely recommend it.

Best €110 I ever spent

This is a no brainer. So much fun, and a great way to see the surrounding area too actually. Make sure whoever is driving has driven manual a bunch though, these things aren't easy to drive at first. They really throw you in the deep end into Florence traffic right off the bat too, so you're gonna want a confident driver. Really though, this is easily the best €110 I ever spent. We were gone for nearly 5 hours, and the meal was great too, with amazing views. Coming back into the city was incredible, crowds gathered and applauded us as we drove through the streets of Florence. A very cool memory. You'd be a fool not to do this.
