Great day spent

We had a wonderful experience specially with our host, Daniel. Cinque terre is a breathtaking place and we would highly recommend to go there if you are visiting italy or specifically florence. Daniel drove us to both the places and gave information as well about all these places. Highly recommend to take this day trip with Daniel.

Best time!

Amazing tour! Highly recommend! Our hotel was not within the pick up zones so we took a taxi to the pick up location. We arrived at 7am so we can have breakfast, we got a discount at the cafe because we are part of the tour. Our driver Daniel came on time in a 6 seater Mercedes. The van was very comfortable, in the back seats or in the front, they had usb connections to charge your phone. It was my husband and I and another couple. It was so nice that it was us 4 we all got along and remained together throughout the tour. We started in Pisa which was smart, we skipped A big tour line. We went up to the top of the tower. Daniel directs you where to purchase tickets, and also informs us about the history of Pisa. After Pisa was the ride to cinque Terre, it wasn’t too bad because we enjoyed learning on the way and also enjoyed getting to know the other couple. Once we arrived, we went to three out of five towns. In the train Daniel was with us During the trains and In between but gave us time to explore the towns. Because it was off season there wasn’t many people and many places were closed but it was still well worth it.

Great tour to the Coast

A quick stop at Pisa started our day. You won't have time to climb the tower if that is your interest. We then headed to Cinque Terre and it did not disappoint. We went to three of the five towns by train. The views were stunning. Our guide Flavio was helpful but not overbearing. He was interested in what we did and was clear about times we needed to meet. It was a great day. This is not a tour for anyone with mobility issues. The walks can be steep. I really enjoyed this tour and would recommend to anyone wanting a small trip out of Florence.

Dream Trip

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Fabio was just outstanding. Timely hotel pick up and drop off, and facilitated train transfers. There were only 5 of us the the comfortable Mercedes van. Spent about 45 mins in Pisa in the morning (ideal coz there’s less tourists), then visited 3 of 5 Cinque Terre Villages (Riomaggiore, Monterosso where we had lunch, then Manarola). Definitely one for the books!

Amazing! Our tour guide Daniel was super friendly and informative! So glad we did Pisa quickly first as there is not much to see besides the tower. Cinque terre is absolutely breath taking. Daniel gave us a lot of time to explore on our own so we were able to enjoy. I highly suggest this tour to someone who has not been to Italy before as getting to cinque terre is a little confusing. Please note that train is used to get from one city to another in cinque terre and price of tix is included in your ticket from Viator. The tour was only my husband myself and another couple. I saw other tours of 20 plus people and was very thankful I chose this tour instead. Highly recommend this tour.
Great time, great trip

This was our favorite tour of our trip to Italy. We had a good size group (2 other couples plus our family) and the tour guide was very charismatic and got us through the day smoothly. We spent the perfect amount of time at each location and just had a great day.
An amazing day tour and an excellent guide!

If you only do one experience in Florence make it this one and make sure you ask for Fabio!. From start to finish this was everything I wanted it to be and more. Cinque Terre was so beautiful and our driver Fabio was fantastic providing us with great local knowledge and great conversation along the way. I must also say a HUGE THANK YOU to Fabio for going above and beyond! On our return to the van I had realised that I had left a painting at our restroom stop and Fabio didn’t hesitate in running down to retrieve it and bring it back for me. Such a great guy. Thank you I Just Drive and Fabio for one of the highlights of our Italian holiday! Worth every star and more.

Our driver Daniel was very knowledgeable and interesting. However we never visited the Cinque Terre because of possible impeding storms which did not happen. The local police would not let our van into the towns.Instead we were offered a visit to Lucca and a wine tasting experience. The wine tasting was very nice but we were not impressed with Lucca. We know that this is not the fault of the driver or the company, but we were disappointed at not being able to visit the Cinqye Terre.
The Perfect Day!

This is the perfect day trip to Cinque Terre from Florence. Our driver, Leonardo, was amazing! He was waiting for us when we arrived at our meeting point. The Mercedes van was very comfortable for all of us- 7 in total. He handled all the arrangements and escorted us on the train. We then chose to do the hike from Monterosso to Vernazza- it took us about 1 1/2 hours- but it was so worth it! To be honest, there are a lot of stairs going up, but you can stop at any time and take a break. The views from the trail are breathtaking! We then had lunch in Verrnazza and then met back up with Leonardo at our specified time. We then were lucky enough with the weather to take the ferry boat back to where we started. If the seas are to rough, the boats don't operate so you just take the train bak instead. You get to visit three of the five towns, but we got to see all five from the boat. On our way back to Florence, we were able to stop to see the leaning tower in Pisa. It is well worth the stop to see it! We were all taken back. We were there for about 45mins., but did not go up the tower. I think the most fun, is taking pictures at the tower. Everyone is snapping pictures like they are holding up the tower! Leonardo was a wealth of information and we so enjoyed all the history along the way.
