Great time

We had a great time. The area you see on the tour is breathtaking. The winery where you have lunch was wonderful and the wine excellent. And can't say enough about the guides. All in all a great day. Thanks

Not worth the money

Biggest part of my complaint was it was raining and cold. They do not cancel the tour until the minute of. When we arrived we were rushed to ride the Vespa’s. In my mind I was thinking we would be stopping to look at the Scenery and enjoy the Hillsides. But we were rushed, the weather was cold and raining. If I would not have taken rain gear we would have been wet head to toe. Biggest part of the tour was selling us wine. Not worth the money

Hey Bruce Ross from Florida, I have to call you a rainyman, I am working on order the Sun for you for the next time. So you literally review the weather Bruce? :) Buy the way, now it's our turn, we have to review you. A couple from Florida, one is much older then another, who has to continue a family business, but maybe just daiting a sugar daddy. We don't run the tour in the rain, but if starts raining during the ride, we are super happy to have people like you who review the rain, or you tell us the solution? With a hand on my heart we both got it, but is not for a pubblic. Bruce, being passive aggressive is never a nice thing. With love Dejan

The Vespas are so fun!

What a fun way to see the gorgeous Tuscan country-side! The Vespa tour was the highlight of my teens' trip - they absolutely loved it; and the wine tasting and lunch was wonderful. Really great half-day trip from Florence.

Great family experience!

This was the highlight of our trip! Trying to find something that appeals to everyone in a family (in our case, ages 20-63) can be a challenge but this tour fit the bill! Our tour guide was Francesco. I wasn't sure how it would be in the beginning. Our van was packed with 9 people, and it was a 35 minute ride to the winery on a pretty hot day. But once we arrived, I knew the ride was worth it. We saw the wine cellar and learned a little about making winer (emphasis on "little"). After a brief "lesson" on riding a Vespa, we were off for a 45 minute ride along the countryside. Fabulous views! After the ride, it was back to the winery for a wine tasting along with some bread and meats. If you are doing this for the wine tasting more than for the Vespa ride, this may not be the tour for you. But if you want a fun thing to do with a taste of wine at the end, this is the tour for you!

Don't Expect to Actually Drive the Vespa Yourself
Loretta_M
, Apr 2022
We signed up for the Vespa Tuscany tour expecting to drive a personal Vespa. Unfortunately, that did not happen. We were asked to show that we could drive one and I had never driven one before, so we both failed and ended up being a passenger instead. Still enjoyed the trip, but wished they had provided time to actually learn how to drive a Vespa, that was one of the things we were most looking forward to on our trip.

Hey Loretta, This is Dejan, the owner of Tuscany Cycle, honestly, I didn't remember you on one of our tours and I can't find any record of your reservation with us, but thank you to review your driving skills on our business page. Safety first, so, in case you are non-able to drive a Vespa on the road you end up being a passenger with a guide and still have a good time. Sometimes in never enough :) :) With true love Dejan

Huge highlight of our visit to Florence.

Great and fun experience! Perfect father and daughter experience. One leaves the city around 10am+. The trip take place approx 35+ minutes away from the city. It’s a small town up in the mountains with a gorgeous view. You arrive at small wine estate that full of history and most likely one of the family members gives you a tour of the estate and it’s wine production. Then around 11:00-11:30am, A small training course takes place to learn how to ride Vespa and see everyone’s capacity. Those that are uncomfortable are given the option to stay or be paired with others that do or have previous experience riding motorcycles. The ride felt like it was around 50-60 minutes (which was perfect) thru the countryside roads with amazing Tuscan wineries, olive farms and beautiful houses. Once the tour is over closer to 12:30-1pm, the estate has a delicous lunch with great wine tasting. Tip: Make sure to ask questions about the wines to learn more about them. I was happy I took this Vespa tour as I was confused between the one offer in the city or taking this countryside option. Driving in the countryside is very unique. The group size is very manageable.

A great day! I highly recommend this trip as a must do in Firenze. We did not have a lot of time to see this area so this is a perfect way to get out and get a view of the countryside! Dejan is fun and knowledgeable! And the wine tour is excellent

Good tour but overpriced
Rizwan_M

It is well-organized tour, we have been picked fro city to Florence suburb, where the vineyard was. every thing is good except it is over priced for the experience. it is just 30 minute scooter ride around the vineyard with no explanation. Wine and food was ok.

Dear Mohammed Musaib Rizwan from Ilinois, There is one important thing that many people miss when they write the review, that they review not the experience but themself. Your group of 6, many of you didn't drink wine at all, you had a cellar visit, so to say no explanation is just not true, the riding time was 1h, as we said depends on the other people skills and safety, if the lady a front of you go slower then you, what do you expect me to do?!? Just saying. By the way myself as a owner spend personally time with you, so being passive aggressive in comment just not help anyone. Just speak up next time and safe our time and your money. With love Dejan

Amazing Vespa Vineyard Tour
Michelle_M
, Mar 2022
This has been our favorite day in Italy thus far, we didn’t want it to end. Started with a 25 minute drive from Florence to Vineyard. Francesco lead us on a Vespa tour through gorgeous Tuscan hills. Back to the vineyard he gave us a tour of the wine cellar explaining the wine making process. We then had an absolutely amazing meal of meats/cheeses, pasta, salad and wine in a beautiful room in his house. The wine was excellent (ordered a case). Francesco gave us plenty of time to eat and enjoy wine. We then relaxed in the yard taking in the views before returning to Florence. Could not have been more pleasurable!

Great Day in the Tuscan Hills!
Kate_M
, Mar 2022
This was a great day! Met at the office in Florence (group was only 8 people), rode in a van out to the country to do the Vespa ride and winery tour. The winery tour was VERY cool and wine was delicious. The Vespa tour was beautiful and a fun experience. I will warn that the vespa training is extremely quick and it’s basically to see if you have the ability to ride the vespa. If you have zero experience with riding on two wheels, it is probably not enough time to learn for the average person. In that case, it would be best to go with someone who has experience on a motorcycle/scooter so you know you will still have a safe and good time. Since I was not able to pick it up quickly, I just rode as a passenger, with someone who had ridden a motorcycle before, and it was still a great experience. Thank you Dejan!
