This tour was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide, Joan, was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable and easily answered every question we had. I learned so much about the history of the art, the artists, and Florence. As someone with just basic knowledge, this tour was really invaluable to me. It just really helps to get the background and be able to see things you'd otherwise be oblivious to. I can't recommend this tour enough!

First off, the guide was great and this poor review has NOTHING to do with him. I had two issues with this tour. It is not early access as listed in the description. The museum opens at 8:15 and we did not enter until close to 9:30. The second issue is that 3 people in the group elected to be late and we all stood around for 30 minutes waiting for them. Because other cannot respect time, that does not mean the responsible members of the group should be punished.

Dear Katherine_B, Uffizi Gallery is opening at 8:15am but the tour is scheduled to depart at 09:00am. Guide wait for the late family because they had a problem with their son and the tour depart at 09:11, as per ticket scanning. I am sorry for the few minutes delaying but back at that day you doesn't seem upset about, the tour doesn't lost any minutes and a a gesture of kindness waiting a few minutes for a family did not seem like a problem. We do apologize for making you unsatisfied of our service for this reason. I love how our guide introduced us to Renaissance at the beginning. It was one of those A-ha moments when you realize how evolution happened. The gallery is a must-see, of course, and this tour will be remembered, especially for the great explanation of details in the works of great masters. Our guide was great. AMAZING TOUR!! Richardo, our tour guide, was wonderful!! We got to see the iconic pieces & it was amazing to feel as though we were learning a lot.
