Ok..so the instructions indicated...

Ok..so the instructions indicated pickup at gate 1 however the ship dropped everybody at gate 3, so starts this adventure. Getting picked up 40 minutes late after borrowing a phone. Our driver did little to no narration and was more interested in getting the tour over and going to enjoy the holiday, the day we were they was a huge holiday. Good parts were the temple we were brought to and the city sights, got to photograph a cobra and a flutist with basket, very cool. Over all not a good tour guide, gave us excuses as it was too far to go, even with it mentioned in the description. Not recommended with this guide.

Colombo was a nice city, and our tour guide was good, but the Tour company we were assigned was not very good. Most of the tour companies have a permit to enter the pier where the ship docks, but this company does not have it, so initially they want us to walk almost 3/4 of a mile to meet their car, but eventually they got a car that came to pick us up and then, when the tour was done, a car took us back to the pier, but what they did not tell us was that we had to pay extra money for that service. So, to Christo, our tour guide I will give him 4 stars, but to the company 2 stars. They need to improve in service and communication.

My husband and I decided to go on this tour during a layover in Colombo. Our driver/tour guide met us at the arrival area at the airport at an extra charge and it was very easy to locate him. Our tour guide was very flexible and was able to take us to all of the top places on our list of sights to see. Although we were limited on time due to our flight schedule, we were able to fit in all of the things we wanted to do.

The tour was nice and the driver was very knowledgeable. But, we ran out of things to do and didn't take the whole 6 hours. And, they weren't as flexible in the locations I wanted to go as they made it seem in the advertisement.
