The tour was really good in the evening. However here also the guide insisted that Dinner at KL tower is not included and he was not told by the office people. We argued with him and showed him the voucher copy . He then reluctantly took us to KL tower and to his shock there were tickets left at the reception for three of us. The guide was ashamed and was sorry for his behavior. The Dinner was excellent and the view from the restaurant's window seat was excellent.

This tour is flawed. We were picked up on time at 1800 with a knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed the market which we would otherwise have missed. As arranged we reported back to our guide at 19.00 and set off for the KL Tower. Traffic was bad and we did not arrive until 19.40. We got from the base of the tower to the restaurant without too much difficulty to find it filled with people who had began their meals at 18.30. Just 30 minutes into our meal there was an announcement that we had to vacate our table at 2030! Our guide intervened and managed to persuade the staff that we could continue our meal but we did so with the buffet food disappearing and the restaurant being cleaned and prepared for the next batch of diners due at 2100. This spoilt the event and the tour cannot be recommended because even without the traffic delay, we could not have arrived at 1830 when the first sitting for dinner commenced. Thanks to our guide Ram for making it other than a total disaster.

We were desperately disappointed with this tour. Our guide turned up over an hour late to collect us from the hotel after we had frantically phoned to see where he was . This resulted in our missing most of the slot of our allocated dining time. We were offered no explanation for his unacceptable delay. He drove erratically to try and catch up on the time lost as a result of his delay resulting in my wife feeling car sick from the drive to the tower from the hotel and being unable to enjoy the meal which was rushed. By the time we got to the Central Market it was closing . All in all a total disappointed and a very unprofessional way to operate a tour. We are very unhappy with this. Our tour guide was distracted and stressed during the time he spent with us. We would not recommend this tour based on our experience. This was a minus 5 star experience which put a damp squib on the start of our stay in Kuala Lumpur.

I do not recommend this tour. In relation to the 'stroll through the citys famous Central Market with a knowledgeable private guide' we were dropped at the entrance and left on our own to explore the market. To make things worse, we were dressed very nicely for the dinner as we were told there is a dress code with the info received for this tour so at the market we were even bigger targets than the average tourist. I would never have gone to the market dressed like we were if we knew we would be left on our own. In regards to the dinner, there did not seem to be a dress code as there were people in track pants. The food was mostly cold as it had been sitting out for a while. We were told non-alcoholic drinks were free with the package, yet were charged for soft drinks. The only good thing about this tour was the view from the tower. A very disappointing and overpriced experience.

I understand that the high price comes from this being a private tour but I can't say I learned too much from the tour guide. He was a nice guy and all but you can get the same information from the City Highlights tour. The stopovers, particularly Chinatown and Atmosphere 360º, are worth it but you can easily do them on your own without paying for the tour. One complaint: it rained and the guide did not have umbrellas for us. As such, we couldn't go inside the Indian temple. Womp womp.

Definitely not good value for money. We essentially paid about AU$90 for a guy to drive us to a temple, Chinatown and the tower (when you take off the normal price for dinner at the restaurant). We saw no dancing so should really be asking for a refund! Yes the dinner at the Tower was wonderful and very filling, yummy food, but apart from that, we got no real ongoing commentary from our guide, just dropped off at places; in fact while he was lovely, his English would not have sufficed for a tour guide even if he did try. There was no mention by Viator or the guide that my husband needed to wear long pants at the restaurant so he wasn't particularly happy to have to wear a sarong over his shorts upon arrival. This was humiliating for him and absolutely should be in the important information section of the tour details on the website. I always recognize that you pay a little more for these tours etc. through Viator but this one was extremely disappointing for value for money and tour content. Should have caught cabs.
