Overview

Enjoy a guided tour of Valley of Fire State Park on this half-day excursion from Las Vegas. One of Nevada's oldest state parks, home to fiery red sand dunes, has been a favored location for many famous film scenes, weddings, and car commercials over the years. Your guide shares facts about the history, geology, desert plants, and wildlife along with a series of short hikes and lunch is included. There's also a stop at the visitor's center where you can use the restroom and buy souvenirs. The park is about 60 miles from Las Vegas, so this is a great tour for those looking to get outside the city and see a bit of the Mojave desert.

The hike of the Valley of Fire was beautiful. Our small group of 5 had a great time and learned a lot about the valley through our guide’s knowledge. Michelle, our guide, was awesome. Should we visit Vegas again I will be sure to find another activity through this company.

The half day Valley of Fire tour was spectacular with beautiful Scenery. We were the only 2 on the tour so we got even more personalized. Edgar from River Dogz did a great job of driving and pointing out key points of interest. He also picked a great spot for lunch outside the park near running water and palm trees. Later that day we sent you an email letting you know we were very sorry we did not fill our numbers to fill the tour. We also called you later that day to see if you could switch to another day or get you in touch with someone to run the tour for you. We did not want you to miss out on Valley of Fire. You did not respond so we refunded you immediately. We had to contact you since you did not confirm your booking. For those reading this we do offer a private tour price, which is higher than the discounted Viator price. So please contact us directly to confirm your booking. We made every effort to communicate with this customer, but they did not return our call. This is vastly becoming a very popular tour and most days we meet our minimum.

Andrea, our guide was wonderful! My sister and I had a personal tour with her and loved it. We were grateful that they didn't cancel because it was just the two of us. It was an amazing day with great weather, lots of wonderful sights and outdoor exercise (not very extreme). So nice to get out of the city and see this unique landscape.
