Lecce History and Street Food Tasting Tour

Dear Andrew, Your review gives us the opportunity to make a clarification that we hope will be useful to those who want to buy this tour in the future. This tour was born from the idea of offering a smart guided tour of Lecce, rather than a classic walking tour based only on history. For this reason, we decided to add tastings of local food, in this case "street food". As such, the tastings can only be based on snacks, as specified in the tour description. Regarding the drinks, we preferred not to include them in this specific tour-product (as specified in the tour details) to allocate the whole budget in favor of as many food specialties as possible and allow each participant to drink (or not), according to his/her own preferences. Additionally, it is also necessary to emphasize that the price that each guest pays is determined not only by the food costs and the guide's remuneration, but also by service costs which we must pay and which have a significant impact on the final price. A food-tour, which might be what you expected instead, is a different type of product because, in addition to snacks, it would also include a stop in a restaurant for a 2-course meal + wine, with additional costs for at least $25/$30 and a longer duration (minimum 3h 30). We do offer this kind of tours also, but only on request. Based on what you have pointed out in your review, we will evaluate whether to reduce the number of food tastings in favour of an extra drink.
