I was unsure about doing a tour like this, but I was so happy I did! Sheila was amazing and I learned so much. Met lovely people and really had a great day!
Trudy is Amazing!

Our family of four (two teenagers aged 15 & 18) visited the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey during our first visit to London in July. We simply cannot say enough about this tour through the Evan Evans tour company. Our guide Trudy is the main reason for this. She was incredibly knowledgeable, but also thoughtful and kind with a wonderful sense of humor. Our family visited seven countries during our month-long vacation with 21 different tours. Trudy was the BEST! This tour gave us a perfect overview of the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and the Borough Market, but the fun experience of riding on an old double decker bus while being entertained by Trudy really put this over the top. We are so grateful for the memories and hope to tour with Trudy again someday.

too much to do in one day due to the opening times of the two attractions. Tony Mathews, the guide, failed to tell us that if we were one minute late to the leaving time, we would be left, and that is what happened. We were in a long que in the Crown Jewels Tower and was 14 min late to rendezvous. if a driver from another company had not called EvansEvans Tours and found out what to do we would have lost the last half of the tour. there were only 9 people, Toni should have made a stronger signal on the dangers of not being on time due to the time crunch. Then he got upset with us, which was totally uncalled for. EvansEvans told us to go some Borough Market, some other equally unknown place, a cabby was able to find for us. Then Toni tried to tell me that if the bus had waited one more minute for us it would have cost the company 30 pounds. Well, hello, they need to find another place to park or at least give us the option of paying for the late fee. This is uncoordinated and it makes you wonder what EvansEvans is trying to do, make money or help their customers. i don't care how big they are, the customer is always first. Really was pushed due to the atractions opening and closing times, to get them in and do any justice to looking at everything and enjoying everything. i hear this complaint commonly on a number of paired tours. So, go online and get your own tickets and enjoy the places as long as you want to.
our guide Trudy was excellent

Early Access was a brilliant idea. No queue or almost none to see the Crown jewels. Very good timing indeed. Very nice presentation of Westminster Abbey. We loved the overall tour, except the afternoon tea. But it was not the reason why we chose this tour. ;-) Special mention for Trudy, our guide. One of the bests I've encountered and we traveled to lots of places in the world...

Fantastic tour guide, Debbie. Kept the whole day so interesting. Great fun to travel on old London bus too. Easy pick up and excellent service
I regret signing up for this

I base what tours I sign up for on the reviews. First of all: This is NOT early access. We stood in line with everyone else. We had 18 minutes with the special warden in the tower. There was only time to see the crown jewels and nothing else. Then a very rushed tour of Westminster Abbey. Worst of all was then tea time there. We were treated like a herd of cattle. Each tea tray was to be shared with 2 people, so if you had an odd number in your party then get to know your neighbor. After being given your tray if you needed anything else you would have to get up and find a server. One couple was the last to be seated and there was not two seats together. The staff was not interested in helping and fellow tourists tried to rearrange seating to accommodate the poor things. I hope to help someone who is considering this tour. JUST DON'T.. You are much better off going by yourself to see The Tower and The Abbey. Then go to tea somewhere nice. This was a disapointing disaster and waste of time.
The Perfect Day

Our tour guide was GREAT, Sheila was very knowledgeable, other than London traffic it was a perfect day. Evan Evan tours are the way to go.
good but could be better

So the reason for my 3 star review here lies really with the title of this tour. Early access wasn't actually a thing on this tour. First, let me start by saying that overall it was enjoyable. Our guide was lovely and funny and made sure everyone could hear her. She was also very knowledgeable. The afternoon tea was delightful. Here's what I had an issue with. We spent the money on non refundable tickets so why weren't the admission tickets purchased before hand? We were late getting started and our guide had to buy our entrance tickets to both tower and WA so we lost a lot of time with her just waiting in line. Because of that, our time through both ToL and WA I felt was very rushed. It would have been nicer if the tickets were already purchased in advance for us.

Anthony is amazing! Private tours of both White Tower and Westminster Abbey, There was the usual wait to see the Crown Jewels, but otherwise everything was very timely and efficient. It was a very full day, but did not feel rushed at all. Lunch at Borough Market was fun and just the right amount of time. Tea at Westminster Abbey was a nice selection of finger sandwiches and pastries and a great way to end the day. This tour was not cheap for a party of 5, but felt very personal and kept 4 teens entertained, so definitely worth it!!
