Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Choose a convenient evening start time and meet your guide near Trafalgar Square for a journey through the city’s gruesome history. Board the ghost bus—a 1960s Routemaster with its own dark history—grab a seat in the shadowy lower or upper deck, and peek out the window as your coach winds through the sinister streets of the capital city.

With such a long and bloody history, many of London’s most esteemed landmarks—such as the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral and London Bridge—come with a side of infamy and mystery. Pass the Tower of London, where many tyrants (and the occasional innocent) met their death by ax, and Westminster Abbey to learn about the ancient royal tombs that were discovered there.

As you ride, hear chilling tales of London’s most prolific hauntings, deadliest diseases, and most depraved characters. Keep your wits as your guide recounts the Whitehall Mystery, a grisly murder case from the 19th century where neither the victim nor the killer were ever identified. Hear chilling tales of the black dog of Newgate Prison and of Sweeney Todd, the demon barber (and butcher!) of Fleet Street.

Your tour returns to the departure point with plenty of time to grab food or drink to warm your chilled soul.

Quirky fact and fiction..done in an amusing if slightly tongue in cheek manner...Sure he's told these tales a 1000+ times but still sounded enthusiastic

Disappointed

It was not good. Really boring. Nothing scary about it at all. More like a city tour with sound effects. Would not recommend. A waste of time and very over priced. The bus even broke down.

Good fun, theatrical and educational. The host was very good. Loved the bus too. I would like to do a longer one with a stop off at one of the landmarks.

The trip was excellent, Barry was funny, yet spooky at times with a wealth of knowledge for someone who hasn't been doing the job for very long. Great trip.

Witty, funny and entertaining. Fun evening adventure. Great way to see the iconic sights. Learnt a little history along the way. Suitable for families - wouldn’t take younger children though as could be a little scary.

We waited at the stop for the bus to arrive, no show, eventually a guy arrived to say the bus was stuck in traffic so they would have to cancel the tour. They know what time the tour is, how the traffic is likely to be and should therefore make allowances for this and be early at the stop. We were very disappointed and now waiting for our refund.
