Depart from London and travel out of the city in your air-conditioned coach toward the majestic Windsor Castle. Home of the British Royal Family for 900 years, and location for the 2018 Royal Wedding, Windsor is the world's largest and oldest occupied castle and widely considered one of England’s finest. Explore the lavishly-decorated State Apartments and St George's Chapel with your guide and hear of the castle’s fascinating history and heritage.

Continue on through the rolling green Wiltshire landscape to Stonehenge, a collection of stones dragged to this lonely plain near Salisbury 5,000 years ago. This ancient stone circle is still a place of strong spiritual significance, and continues to capture the imagination of the many visitors it welcomes each year. Why the stones were placed here and what purpose they served remains a mystery though, so wander around the site at your leisure and decide for yourself why these age-old rocks have found themselves here. Take a look around the visitors’ center and learn the history of this ancient, mysterious site. During your visit enjoy a free interactive map and VOX personal headset that is exclusive to this tour.

Next, hop back in your coach and continue onward to Bath, famous for its elegant Georgian architecture and widely considered one of England’s prettiest cities. Follow your guide on a panoramic tour of Bath and be enchanted by the town's beautiful streets and alleyways, capturing the sites on camera as you go. You'll see Bath Abbey and the much-photographed Pulteney Bridge, modeled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. During the tour, you will see the city’s famous Roman Baths — the best preserved Roman spa from the ancient world.

At the end of your time in Bath, travel back to London’s Victoria Coach Station where your day trip concludes.

Step inside St George’s Chapel, where HRH Prince Harry married Ms Meghan Markle and the tombs of prominent previous monarchs are located, including Henry VIII and Charles I. Don’t miss a colourful display of typical British pageantry that takes place every morning at the Changing the Guard ceremony, where the handover of duties between guards to the Queen takes place. All of the sites were interesting and being able to share with my family. Stonehenge was really the most interesting as seeing something that was placed there over 5000 years ago.

Just a quick taste
Deborah_L
, Aug 2022
This is a great tour for a taste of theses sites. The visits are really very short ( a little over an hour at each site). Summer time is very crowded with many groups. Some guides are better than others. Some provide a lot of history- ours did not - she was more concerned with logistics and telling us about the wonderful shops or wonderful Georgian architecture. ( just that it was wonderful) I would hope they would start to add trips like Cotswolds and Bath or Oxford. Windsor and Bath or Windsor and Stonehenge- only 2 stops would make the day more enjoyable
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
Dear Debora, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. As this tour has lots included, we recommend this to guests as a "taster" or "introduction" to each of the destinations. We also offer a range of tours with the opportunity to spend longer in each of the locations, for example our "Villages of the Cotswolds" small group tour. If you would like any suggestion, we would be happy to assist you. Best wishes, Evan Evans Team

Amazing experience

Wow! What an awesome day! Surpassed expectations! Peter was a wonderful tour guide and Mark was our driver. This tour exceeds expectations! It’s about 12 hours but the bus was comfortable and totally fine for me and my 12 year old daughter: The sites you get to see are beyond compare. Yes, it’s a short time at each, but it was worth it to see them all! The one recc I’d have is to bring sandwiches. There are many restaurants in Windsor in bath but they are sit- down and we didn’t want to use our time in the locations sitting at a restaurant. There are pubs in both of this places too. Peter was funny and informative and clear and organized and we loved it! AMAZING TRIP!

Richard Gave A Good Windsor, Bath, And Stonehenge Tour
Michael_D
, Aug 2022
Richard was a great tour guide. He knew when to go to each place we saw. He had a amazing history of each place we visited. He was a good guide, and I recommend his tour to anyone. He also was good about keeping up with the time, and having us meet back at the bus at a certain time, so we would not be late getting back home.

Nice day trip from London
Christine_G
, Aug 2022
Tried to book the Stonehedge and Bath tour however it was cancelled and we went on this one instead. Tour was bilingual so guide provided tour in both Japanese and English. It could be a little disjointed and hard to follow with him jumping back and forth between the two languages but he was friendly and knowledgeable. WiFi was not reliable and no bathroom on bus unless for emergencies. Felt rushed, particularly in Bath, but that’s expected on a tour like this. Overall a good trip, sites were incredible.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
Dear Christine, Thank you for your 4* review and lovely comments about our guide. We often describe this tour as a ‘taster’ tour as due to the distances and tight itinerary we are only able to allow a limited amount of time at each venue. It does however leave you wanting to come back for more. If that is the case we also run tours which visit less venues and where the distances are less (such as our tour to Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds) which allow more time in each destination. If you would like any information on any future tours then we will be more than happy to send you some more information. Thank you, Evan Evans Teams

Robert was an excellent guide. His historical stories about the areas we visited were memorable and entertained my three teenagers. Bannington was a very reliable driver. It was unfortunate that Windsor castle was closed and wished we could have spent less time there since it was closed and spent more time in Bath. I also was not aware that the Roman baths were not included in the trip cost. Overall an enjoyable excursion.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2022
Dear Mohan, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and your lovely comments about our guide Robert and driver Barrington. Indeed Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and on those days we only offer entrance to Stonehenge. If you wish to visit Windsor Castle, we do offer an afternoon tour to Windsor which allows for 1.5 hour visit at the castle. If you require any assistance, please do note hesitate to contact us. Best wishes, Evan Evans Team

If you can get past the disorganization in the boarding process, this tour is wonderful. I am a history teacher and I was amazed at Katia’s knowledge (and without notes). Our driver, Pavel was equally magnificent. This tour was well worth the money.

A full day visiting 3 of the best highlight in the south of England. Our guide, Andrew, was very thoughtful and provided us all information needed during the day especially during the heat wave and is an excellent historical teller! I recommend this tour to every traveler coming to UK for the first time or wishing to refresh their historical knowledge!

This was almost a 12 hour trip, but very enjoyable. Bennington, our driver, drove us safely around, had cold water to sell us and was very helpful. Robert, our guide, was really great. He knew literally everything about the places we visited and showed us all the interesting places. He also pointed out where to go on our free time and where the best restaurants and pubs were. Overall a great trip!

Rowan our tour guide was fantastic but be ready to hustle at all stops… this is intended to get so much in in the allotted time Windsor head right for the state apartments and grab a quick grab and go bite on the way out Bath, I could spend days here .. gorgeous city with so much to see and places to eat and grab a pint Stonehenge, the cafe is small so eat before but the amount of time here is perfect When i come back i definitely plan on spending more time in Bath

We had such a fantastic day on this tour. It is exhausting and long but Rowan and Christoff (our driver) made it so worth it. I could hear Rowan talk for hours about history. You can tell 1) that she loves it 2) that she’s super knowledgeable! Pack your walking shoes and your patience pants especially if you come in the summer, the lines are long but everything is pretty well organized! Thanks again Rowan and Cristoff!

The experience was good but was so disappointed that we were so rushed at Windsor castle. You need so much more time there than what we were allowed. We spent most of the time waiting in line that we didn’t even get to go in the castle!
