As a frequent visitor to Cabo San Lucas, I had grown tired of the usual restaurants we frequent. This tour opened my eyes to some of the hole in the wall places where locals eat. Our escort, Milton, was superb and the tour ran smoothly. Some of the offerings were new to me, like smoked marlin tacos, beef tongue tacos and strawberry tamales. I stuck to the more mainstream menus and was not disappointed while my family were more adventurous and were pleased by the items listed above. We visited six stops which included one frozen dessert place and the tequila tasting with churros at the end. The route was very easy to walk. Milton is a long time resident of CSL and former concierge, so he was happy to share his vast knowledge of the food scene, even recommending restaurants not on the tour.

We did this foodie tour on our second day in Cabo and that was perfect! We knew where to go and grab an authentic bite. The food was incredible. The tour guide David was entertaining and knowledgeable and we all had such a great time! The tequila tasting was such a great way to end this fantastic tour. Highly recommend!

Booked last minute after another tour we scheduled was canceled. Very easy to find. It was more of a private tour since it was just my husband and I. During the tour, we ate tacos (shrimp, fish, beef, chicken, mole, el pastor, etc) tamales, wipes, churros, ice cream, and finished the evening with some tequila tasting. Off of the food was amazing, and now we have some places to revisit again when we return. David was an awesome guide, and very popular in town!

Everything about the experience was memorable the guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable the food and the Mexican history. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting to try authentic Mexican food and learn about the history of the area. The tequila tasting was also good because we tried several different types of tequila you cannot get back in the states.

A must do! When they say eat a light breakfast they mean DO NOT EAT BREAKFAST. The local tacos were excellent! The tour guide Miguel was the best! We really appreciated him giving the geographical history of where each taco came from. To end with the tequila tasting was amazing. At first I thought it wasn’t enough per taste but soon my head swooning proved I was wrong. We will absolutely do this again!

Did the food tour with family & friends. We all had such a great time. The staff was amazing and friendly. The first timers with us loved it. In comparison to another walking food tour we did in another city, the only negative to this tour is at a few stops you are standing/eating on the sidewalk. As to sitting at a table inside a restaurant.

This was a great experience to tour the local food spots in Cabo San Lucas! Our tour guide, Milton, was awesome! We felt very safe and comfortable with him. At each location, everyone was so friendly and accommodating! I also loved that we met 2 new people on our tour, so that was nice. I’ll recommend this tour to everyone and my family plans to come back to do this again! Also, did I mention all the food we tasted was phenomenal!!!! Delicious!!!!!!!! Juan Taco Tour is the best!!!!! And the tequila tasting and eduction on tequila was a nice bonus!
