Beautiful island tour 5-6 hours | Mahé | Seychelles | Private Tour | Day trip

I’m not even going to bother to upload pictures because this was a scam. We literally didn’t get everything that was advertised. We “saw” one beach, ate at the next and we also didn’t get any time to swim etc at any. That’s what we were looking forward to. The distillery was also closed that day so it allowed for more time elsewhere and we didn’t get that. We drove through Victoria which is fine we saw stuff, we made it to the lookout that’s fine we loved it, rained but vibes. However what is advertised is not what it is. Even if you say 5-6 hours you need to make sure you 1. Stick to schedule and 2. Even if it goes over make sure the customers get the most out of it and we literally got nothing. I want a refund. Did this for my birthday and literally got NOTHING out of it.

This was undoubtedly one of the most amazing tours I have been on. Great views, great history, lovely locations to hangout with family and friends. This is one tour you must get on if you find yourself in Mahe Seychelles.

Am very disappointed with both Viator and the company services. Firstly, Viator charged the card for the full amount at the time of booking (3 weeks before the trip), then at 1 am on a night before the tour which was supposed to start at 9 am the company (not Sheena whom I had been in contact with previous couple of days and from whom I would have also expected the message) said that due to landline slipping the tour will be changed to 11 am (and they didn’t confirm with us whether it was convenient for us or not or didn’t offer any additional timing, and we have a young child who needs to sleep in the afternoon, and that’s why we booked 5-6 hour tour for 9 am in advance). But we agreed and waited. Then when we got ready, we received another message from Sheena saying that she is still at the disaster office and we have to wait, guys, what is that? We are paying money and have to be treated as puppets. At this point we wrote that we are canceling the tour. And again Sheena said that she is coming. At this point my husband had to intervene and state firmly that the timings that you are offering now are inconvenient and we are available the next day, otherwise cancel pls. So all and all, the experience was very disappointing and I will probably avoid using Viators service in the future because, as mentioned in the beginning, it was stressful experience from the very beginning.

We had an amazing time on this tour with Sheena. She is very friendly and made us feel welcome and safe in the Seychelles! Sheena customised our itinerary based on our preferences we discussed at the start of tour, and we got to see all the attractions we wanted to, including the takamaka rum tasting experience, feeding a giant tortoise, seeing the Victoria city and also the most beautiful beaches and viewpoints on the island. Sheena gave an excellent commentary and told us interesting facts about the island while we drove around and gave us ideas of other places and islands we might like to visit during our stay. We were dropped off at an excellent place for light lunch and to try the local seybrew beer on tap! I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a good feel for the whole island in just one day and looking to learn about the island from someone who lives here. If we lived on the island I’m sure we would be very close friends with Sheena! We will definitely be back to the Seychelles in the future for another one of Sheena’s tours!

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this your was. I can categorically say they are less than 10 humans as amazing as our tour guide Sheena was. We went with our kids, 6 years olds and 4. Kids hey literally couldn’t stop crying at the end of the trip when they j ew Sheena had to leave. She was super kind, patient, genuinely caring and all round amazing. You haven’t had a tour in Seychelles if you haven’t gone with Sheena. She made our experience the best ever! We made a couple of stops we wanted to and she was very willing to do so and educate us on the culture of the Seychellois. Thanks a lot and God bless you real good!!!!

Mahé is beautiful and Sheena is the perfect guide to show the most stunning places and share great stories about the history and the present of the island and its people. I loved the experience and recommend each visitor to Mahé to book this trip with Sheena!

Sheena was prepared for everything and every request! She helped us a ton on a hike with pictures, water, patience, and encouragement. She was lovely! She even gave us a gift at the end. Such a sweet gesture!

Wir wurden pünktlich am Flughafen von Kevin abgeholt und hatten eine sehr schöne und lehrreich Tour mit ihm. Er war sehr freundlich und hat uns alle Fragen beantwortet. Er ist auch auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Trotzdem müssen wir leider einen Punkt abziehen da wir die Tour in Deutsch gebucht hatten und Kevin leider nur englisch konnte. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen :-)
