After hotel pickup in Valletta, travel first in an air-conditioned vehicle to Birdpark Malta.
Join a guided tour of the park and hear from the guide about some of the 200 species of birds and other animals. Learn about bird behavior, habitat, migration and more, all while observing and interacting with the wildlife.
Some of the residents include flamingos, storks, pelicans, parrots, swans, owls, and cranes and animals such as kangaroos, wallabies, antelope, marmosets, meerkats, genets, and deer.
Next up, head to the Malta National Aquarium, a public aquarium with 26 tanks that house a variety of Mediterranean fish, replicas of historical artifacts found around the Malta, and species from the Indian Ocean. The main tank has blacktip sharks, horn sharks, stingrays, eels and other species that you can watch through the clear walls of the walk-through tunnel.
From the pretty promenade outside the Aquarium, take in sweeping views of St. Paul's Islands. At the end of your tour, your driver returns you to your hotel in Valletta.
