I'm glad I booked this tour as it was helpful to have a tour guide walking through Mdina, even though it's fun to do that too.

Great Way to See this Ancient Fortress Town

Nice small group. Guide Matthew was very knowledgeable and did a good job of combining history of the site with anecdotes and interesting stories behind what we were seeing. Much more informative than trying to see this city on your own. Highly recommend!

We toured Mdina with Matthew in a small group of 5 persons. Matthew has a talent for sharing history that makes the buildings and surroundings come to life. He is patient with questions and gives ample time at each stop to enjoy the sight. We liked that he pointed out evidence of the many civilizations in the history of Malta that occupied Mdina. We had a private tour of Valletta on a previous day with Matthew, and the quality of his tours is consistent. We highly recommend this tour and Matthew as your guide.
