Long Day but some parts were worth it

It wasn’t explained well that you have 2 hours in Ardales prior to arriving at the Caminito Del Rey and there is a lot of waiting around; this made for a very long day which could have been shorter. The walk itself was beautiful and definitely worth it, both of us travelling have minor mobility issues and my partner has asthma and didn’t find it too strenuous. The guide, Marcelo, on the walk was excellent and the trail was really well looked after. Make sure you go to the kiosk at the end of the trail for any snacks and drinks as it is much cheaper than the first kiosks that you will see! Remember to bring lots of water! The toilets are very limited and there is none on the trail which is 5km long.

    Bus late!!

    , May 2022
The bus was very late to pick us up, over an hour late, this was a very negative start to the trip, however the visit to the Caminito del Rey was brillant, it has breathtaking views. The walk took over 2 and half hours to complete with a short break half way. Wear comfortable shoes, bring some water and use the toilet beforehand.

    We Booked a trip to...

We Booked a trip to Marbella especialy for Camanito del Rey. The bus picked us up at 7:30. We had a 3 hour bustour because they had to pick up all the other people who joined the trip. We didn't go to camanito del Rey, but first to a place Ardales. Here you had free time (?) We did not know it was part of the trip. When We finally arrived at Camanito del Rey the trip was cacelled because of hard wind. We spent the intire day (of 4 day trip) in a bus. Ofcouse the company can not change the weather, but We didn't know We had to spent a few hours in a place called Ardales, when they went to Camanito del Rey directly We could have walked it..... They said We wolde get a refund. I hope that is true

Worth to visit - bad bus plan route

Caminito del Rey is great experience and really worth to visit. Organization of the trip not so great: bus route with drop of in Malaga was not ok. Good three hours on the bus from Caminito del Ray to Malaga. On the way back, bus drove first to Marbella and endet in Malaga. At the he beginning of the trip, we drove from Malaga (last pick up) to Caminito del Ray for about an hour.

    Disappointed

We left from Marbella and it took 3 hours to get to Caminito del Rey as Julia Travel S.L is not the only agency operating on this tour. After 10 stops, we got there and we were the last group to enter. We did not received any priority at all, it seems that we did not have paid 50eu per person. While we were waiting to enter we found out that the entrance costs 10eu and 18eu with a guide. I highly recommend this option since they were supposed to guide us but we were a group of 40 people from different agencies with just ONE guide. At the end of the tour we met the guide and another three hours by bus to return to Marbella. In conclusion we pay 40euros only for the bus transportation in which you are frozen cold. I do not recommend it at all. If you can rent a car do it as it could take you 1 hour and not 3 to arrive there.

    Peaceful and enjoyable day

Wonderful, full day. Obligatory multiple pick ups, which add to the total tour time but are very convenient as opposed to finding your way to specific pick up spots. Beautiful, peaceful walk through Caminito del Rey, which was very scenic though not as hair raising as I thought it would be. Tasting was nothing but a small plate with olives, etc...for the entire bus to share. Guide and driver were very good. Tour was conducted in three languages. Hats off to anyone who speaks multiple languages. All in all, a wonderful, full day.

    Top Notch Tour

This was a Top Notch Experience- my friends and I loved it. If you are afraid of heights- it's not for you. Beautiful views, beautiful countryside ride to the location as well too. You are not allowed to take a walking stick or trekking pole on the walk (i checked ahead). Take snacks and water along. Some of the path is on uneven slightly rough terrain. Nothing extreme. Wear GOOD proper shoes for this adventure. Really worth while. The "tasting" thing afterword at the restaurant was not much of anything......you can buy lunch if you want. I always have snacks/food stuff with me. I highly recommend. Book early- it's very popular (i'm sure especially in summer).

    La promenade dans le...

    , May 2022
