Moroccan Cooking Class With Chef Najlae !

We really enjoyed Najlea's class. She was funny, engaging and a really good teacher. The food itself was amazing. She even treated us to a snack as we waited for our meat to cook. If we did it again, we would book her privately, since when participating with others, you learn people have a different standard of cleanliness. We took the class with a German couple as well as a British couple. The German couple was fine but the guy in the British couple, kept doing things like picking his nose, or scatching his bare skin and then touching the food he was preparing. Because of this, I didn't eat any of the cold appetizers because that is what we was in charge of making. So, not a fan of group cooking with strangers but a big fan of Najlae's class.

We had a great morning cooking and chatting with Najlae! She is really sweet, talks and lot and help us to prepare great maroccon food! Everything that has been said about her is true and we also advise to do this experience in the beginning because she can give you a lot of great tips! We had great food, great company and a great morning. What else do you want on a holiday?

We read all nice comments before we booked and now we know that there is nothing to add. Absolutely enjoyable afternoon. So many helpful information about the country, the city and of course the food and cuisine.. Delicious. Encouraging. Interactive. Amazing!

Najlae was just one in a milllion. She was an amazing host and chef. A lovely, welcoming, bubbly character that answered every question we threw at her. I asked about the best place to get argan oil and she offered we could make some together ourselves after dinner, which we did. I could not recommend this experience highly enough. It was my favorite bit of Marrakech. I would recommend going to her as one of the first things you do in Marrakech as she gives a good insight into the prices you should pay for everything in the Médina. 10/10

This was a real highlight of our stay - najlae was both a wonderful cook, teacher and host. Such a friendly, social thing to do - and get a great meal at the end! I will now cook tagines with much better results !

Najlae is incredibly knowledgable and highly inspirational. 4 of us joined Najlae, and cooked 2 tagines and 4 diverse salads. We loved every minute and it was definitely the best food we’ve eaten in Marrakech. She also gave us a fantastic insight into the life of Moroccan women. We would all book again (and we wouldn’t get lost getting there next time!)

Najlae is an absolute sweetheart! Well most definitely take great care of you and your group. She definitely undersells her experience with her, as you get way more food than you can eat and there is more to taste and make than anticipated. She is its that her services extend beyond the class, if you need pricing or recommendations she will be available. Not to mention the most reasonable price available!

Wow! I really cannot do justice or say enough about this class. It was fantastic. Our host was wonderful, she was lovely and had exceptional first hand knowledge about the Moroccan food and culture. She was very accommodating, as we had changed our booking last minute. We had such a wonderful time with the other ladies who were doing the class. The tagine we made was delicious! It was fun, interesting and felt like a real insight into the Moroccan culture. You must definitely try it!
