Juan Camilo was excellent. Very knowledgeable, kind and patient. He met us where we were, and we changed the meeting location last minute. Comfortable tour in A/C’d car. I’d use this company again for anything. This tour is cool, if you have a short stay in Medellin though, I’m not sure I’d recommend this unless you’re an avid fan of Pablo Escobar. I did it for my husband, but I really enjoyed it. We drove through a lot of Medellin and made stops so it was actually wonderful. We even stopped for coffee and on de bono twice! It wasn’t just a Pablo Escobar tour, it was like all of Medellin’s history to be honest. I highly recommend! He really paid tribute to those innocent lives lost.

The 3 hours of driving in traffic. Saw 3 sites, didn’t even get out of the car for the first site. 2nd stop was the grave, the private prison was the only thing worth seeing.

It was a nice tour. But we didn’t get as much out of it as we hope, because our guide Pedro couldn’t speak English, so he translated over his phone, even when we have order a English guide. The guide was friendly, but the hole idea of the tour was to get to know things about Escobar.

A great first experience in Medellin!

Juan, our tour guide, was excellent! He was super accommodating when we had to delay our trip about thirty minutes due to an issue w/ our AirBnB check-in. He made sure to show us the less glamorous side of the drug trade's effect on Medellin and its inhabitants. He brought a personal connection to the narrative by sharing stores from his upbringing in the midst of the cartels' operations in the 80s and 90s. As a bonus, he shared some foods typical to Colombia, such as "empanadas" and "gelatinas," while sharing his recommendations on what to do/see while in Medellin. I highly recommend this tour and this guide to anyone visiting Medellin.
