Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Meet your experienced guide in the morning, afternoon or about two hours before sunset, and prepare to traverse the slickrock terrain of Hell's Revenge near central Moab on this off-roading 4x4 adventure.

After a safety briefing, slip behind the wheel in your 4-seater Kawasaki Teryx 4, a UTV. Follow in a small-group caravan to the Hell's Revenge Trail, located just 10 minutes from Moab. Aptly named, this roller-coaster route includes steep inclines such as Devil’s Backbone. You’ll traverse the ridge before you descend into Lake Michigan, named for the water that collects in a low point in the narrow canyon.

Stop near Lion’s Back to find fossilized dinosaur tracks before continuing on to Negro Bill Canyon (Echo Canyon), which boasts eye-popping views of towering sandstone cliffs above an oasis of cottonwood and willow trees.

Glimpse the La Sal Mountains and cast your gaze over Abyss Canyon then motor off-road to an overlook above the green ribbon of the Colorado River — a view enhanced by the sunset (if option selected) — before your 2.5-hour tour ends in Moab.

Awesome adventure for us both. Exceeded our expectations all around. Kyle was a great guide who looked out for our fun and happiness.
Definitely worth doing.

Unbelievable terrain capability of these ATV's. Climbed and descended things that you can't imagine were possible.
Awesome experience Totally worth the money!

What a thrill! This was our first real off-roading adventure and I was a little apprehensive at first, not knowing what these UTVs were capable of but our guide, Danny was amazing and made us feel totally comfortable! It was teeth rattling but sooooo much fun. I’d love to do it again!
Fun & challenging

I had limited 4x4 experience prior to this tour & felt comfortable throughout. That being said, it was challenging & required confidence given what they are asking you to tackle. It’s considered an intermediate trail but definitely has expert obstacles (we didn’t do them but it was super fun to watch others do it). If you have a fear of heights, this is not the tour for you. Some trails are pretty narrow and have steep drop offs on the sides. My 11 yo son needed to close his eyes multiple times (he was scared) - but my 10 yo was thrilled 😆 Our guide, Kyle, made everyone comfortable & took good care of us, checking in with us regularly to make sure everyone was good. One of the top 2 things we did while in Moab - and would go again when we return!
Amazing experience

Our tour guide stopped us and brought us to this cliff where we took pictures off of a slanted rock that made it look like we were falling off the edge of the cliff. Then he had the whole group yell and it echoed all the way through the canyon. Our tour guide had lots of information at each stop and was very funny. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Must do in Moab!

Ben was the best tour guide! He made us feel so confident going up the steeper sections, and gave us some fun history and archaeology lessons at the various stops. This was definitely a highlight of our trip, we had never done this type of thing before, and the experience was so fun! You get to see a lot and go over some really cool tracks. Would recommend doing if you’re in Moab!
Extreme 4 x 4 Ride
, Sep 2021
Ben was an awesome guide! Your driver should be confident in driving these 4x4’s because the terrain is very difficult and in my opinion should not be for amateurs. It was a nerve racking ride but Ben made great stops to see the beautiful landscape and Colorado River which broke up the drive just at the right times. It was exhilarating fun!!

Had a blast on this sunset ride, Jesse was an awesome tour guide! He was knowledgeable and funny and showed us all the cool spots. I would highly recommend!
