A Moab Must!

The food was reminiscent of real Texas BBQ and the sound and light show was superbly done. The interplay of scenery, narration, sound and lighting effects was moving, especially with the music! We would recommend it to anyone who wants a full-spectrum experience!!!

Don’t go!

We were drawn in based on reviews, it was incredibly hot, boring, the light show is just lights shining on rocks as they play a recording from 1980. The history was really bad and random. I wouldn’t recommend and avoid with families as you can’t get off.

The staff was excellent! Loved Tammy’s personal stories. The dinner seating, boarding and disembarking all ran very smoothly. If you are into Indian folk lure and the creation of the earth you will enjoy it. I thought we were going to view the sunset, hence the name of the cruise but we did not. There was way too much time spent on finding faces in the rocks. It would have been more interesting if they spent more time on the geologic aspect of the rocks. The best part of the night was when the light show, which really just consisted of shining a bright light on the rocks was the stars. I think it would have been spectacular if at that point they shut down the boat and the music and had total silence while observing the stars.

Overall a good tour. Starting with dinner it was well organized, good food and plentiful. Getting seconds was offered by the host so, 5 stars here. The facility is great making the taking care of the 100+ guests quite easy. The boat ride, starts with a formidable host, Mr Preston, quite lively and very, very funny. When the light and sound show starts is when thing start getting a little slow... sound needs a little upgrade and the tone used to tell the stories is monotonous. I’ll confess I took a quick nap after an extenuating day in the National Park...Good value for the money and would definitely recommend it.

Great River ride with a great meal.

The meal was delicious. Very well organized. The boat ride started of great. The older man who told stories and told us about the mountains did a great job. But there was a problem with the lights. We had to pause on the River. We could not figure out what we were suppose to be seeing on the stones—- just lights or figures or? Rather disappointing.
