Day tour of Mumbai

It was a good tour. We started out very early (6 AMish) and so we were able to beat a lot of traffic. Got right down into the middle of the open air laundry, flower market and vegetable market. Got to see a lot of other sites along the way, then had a great local lunch and then they dropped me off at the airport. It was a very busy, but very informative and fun day. Well worth the time, and the guide and driver were both great hosts.

Like most catered tours and the script and that is followed is routine. Ganesh the guide and the Ganesh the driver were very knowledgeable and the tour went without a hitch.

We arrived into Mumbai via a cruise ship. On reaching the port gate there was someone waiting for us with our name clearly displayed on a board. We were show to our private taxi with driver Prashant and guide Dinesh. Our tour covered 11 different places of interest , we were able to adjust the places we visited, missing some out as they were not of interest to us but adding some which we particularly wanted to do. The day was very flexible and totally suited to our requirements. Dinesh went above and beyond his role as guide to ensure that we were happy with what we saw and experienced. I would recommend this company to anyone visiting Mumbai.

Zeeshan was our tour guide and we had a great day with him! He was very knowledgeable about all sights that we visited. He was very pleasant and accommodating. He knew a lot about Hindu mandirs and places of historical importance to Hindus which was very good because we were very interested in that. He tailored the tour to places that we had an interest to visit. Highly recommended!

I had a short but pleasant day in Mumbai with the Amaze tour company. All the logistics were seamlessly arranged and they were professional at it. Alam, my tour guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and hospitable. Sanjay the driver was a bit too shy but very good too. All together, it was a very good experience.

An average tour, and not private as advertised

The tour was supposed to be "private" but a group of 5 German travelers joined us. They were truly nice people but I don't think this constitutes a "private" tour. The guide was pleasant enough but seemed to be doing nothing more than providing a basic description. At the end of the tour he left us and had the driver take us back to our hotel.

It was tops from top to bottom. We were picked up at the hotel. The guide was excellent, with us the whole time, including our excellent meal. We went to 6 or 7 things including a tour through the inner workings of the laundry at ground level as well as from above, the Gate to India, the spring where people believe the Ganges flows into Mumbai, a lovely botanical garden. the guide mentioned that his tour for the next day was cancelled. We asked for and got a tour of the "Slum Dog Millionaire" slum. But in addition, he picked us up at the hotel with all our luggage and delivered us to the ship after. What service. There were 8 of us.
